Wtf. This mangaka is a literary genius! He made such a hateable character have a redemption arc. Its genius that he didnt use the name kanchan here to make a separation from he was and who he is now. love this story so much! I read yumis story years ago and i was sure im never going to read hayashidas story because i felt like theres no saving guys like him, but damn i actually like him now. I love long time friends to lovers and i cried for what yumi and hayashida lost, but this ending is perfect for them.

I've been on a reading slump for the past few days so i've just been rereading bit this saved me! Omg im so glad i found this masterpiece. Not only is the art divine but the story is so good as well. I seriously need mooore! This is now one of my most favorite mangas

Damn such a heavy read!! Some mangas really have deep stories that will make you wonder if its going to be a happy ending or not and i love it! I'm emotional because lin che didnt have a single fucking break in his life. Its just full of continuous shit from childhood to adulthood. Thank god he met elliot, cos hes the only positive thing in his life ever. And can i just say lin ches love for elliot is THE definition of love. He'd kill for him, leave him even if it hurts and hes left with nothing just so elliots safe, even die for him! I hope they move to another country and live a happy life together. In my mind they grew old by the ocean together. Super great read but probs wont reread because its too heavy on the feels
