At first, i was so pissed that we were only 3 chapters in and seme already cheated (it was quite a toxic relationship at first in my opinion) but after passing through that phase, i found that it was actually quite realistic. This story reflects a lot of the 70s and 80s where discrimination against the homosexuals was at its peak especially with all those hiv cases rising. Overall love love love the story so much and something i would go back to read again many times, skipping the rape and cheating scenes.
