Usagi no Mori
Ahhh this is my type of story-- it's already one of my favourites! Love the childhood friends concept. The pacing in this is just right, the portrayal of trauma is very well done, the character development is great, and the plot has a lot of potential! Not to mention how interesting and captivating the story is! I'm so excited for the future chapters!
I will be waiting for you in 1999
I feel like the last couple chapters were rushed and not enough closure was provided in the finale. Overall however, the story was meaningful and generally well paced, with really nice art and a well developed plot. This was super cute and the character development was great, especially for Bai Ming. Although, I feel like some of the plot points/characters were not expanded upon enough in depth or clarified.
In the Cage
Super possessive (on the part of both semes) but thankfully it was consensual and Haru made the better choice.
Dekoboko Sugar Days
4.5/5. This was actually one of the fluffiest stories I've ever read. Super super cute. I love childhood friends stories!
He, Him & Us
Damn, I'm disappointed. This actually had so much more potential. To start, the plot conveniences really took away from the story and prevented proper communication between Minyul and Jungsoo. The whole part where he got amnesia was especially frustrating, as he just conveniently seemed to forget everything about Minyul. Moreover, I don't understand why such a huge section of the story was dedicated to the Pyramid Scheme. What was the purpose of that? I guess it kind of showed that Hyun would be there for him ultimately? It's not that I think Jungsoo ended up with the wrong person-- Hyun was definitely the right person for him, and their relationship is a much healthier one. However, in terms of his relationship with Minyul, it was just too inconclusive. Their relationship was tied up too neatly in the plot, while also being left with way too many unresolved issues. There weren't enough conversations, and Jungsoo and Minyul never truly had a conclusive conversation about all the issues in their relationship. I also don't understand the whole problem with Minyul initially liking him because he resembled his previous partners, as ultimately his feelings in the end were real, and Jungsoo liked Minyul because he was attractive as well. None of Minyul's problems were resolved-- he never changed, and was left alone once again. It was just unsatisfying. The story was frustrating as a whole.
Our Relationship Is...
It started out super good, but it's just a little too slow burn for me; the story really dragged on, and it started to get boring (despite the drama). The characters are very well written and developed though! It's still a very worthwhile and adorable read.
