Tosca no Inu
I Became the Wife of the Monstrous Crown Prince
Super cute. Love it so far.
Duke's Private Tutor
2.5/5. I wish the constant sexual assault (on the part of both MCs) was at least somewhat addressed. There's absolutely no healthy communication between the couple and the number of misunderstandings that keep building up are making this story increasingly frustrating to read.
Father, I don't Want this Marriage
It's a little over-dramatic and the number of misunderstandings are downright comedic, but overall the story is cute.
So I Married An Anti-Fan
This is one of the most bingeable, slow-burn, funny, and romantic series I've read in a while! This story reminds me of why I love enemy to lovers tropes so much!
Bokura no Tsuzuki
This is one of the shortest BL manga to make its way into my favourites list; it's just that good. It's so fluffy, sweet, and wholesome, and the dynamic between the characters is just so adorable. How this manga manages to accomplish this cute and moving masterpiece in 5 chapters with no drama and a concise childhood backstory is nothing short of impressive. I loved this so much and can't believe I didn't read this sooner!
Rumspringa no Joukei
So beautifully well-written. Despite the seemingly cheesy plot line, the uniqueness, pure romance, and sentimentality of the characters made this story a moving masterpiece to read. It's a sweet, genuine, and wonderful read.
Unlucky Mansion
This is my favourite josei series of all time omg. I'm particularly in love with the author, and for good reason. This manhwa is such a masterpiece. It perfectly balances a tone of light-heartedness with angst, heavy emotions, and drama. At times, I'm sad beyond belief, at others I'm giddy and gushing over the characters, and at others brimming with laughter. Each of the characters hold their own in the story; they each have a unique story, personality, and deep thoughts and emotions. Some characters, like Kwon Joon and Chae Min, have this dramatic flair that makes them so interesting to watch, but at the same time, the author adds depth to their characters by showing their introspective sides. *NOT TO MENTION, WOO JIN'S BLUSHING FACE GIVES ME LIFE.* The story is quite a slow-burn, and much of it doesn't appear to be romantic, but by the time they do show feelings for each other, it is completely worth it. One of the reasons why I love this manhwa is because it is unique in that the characters fall for each other and show interest in each other at different times; it's not synchronized, which I find realistic and refreshing in a josei. My favourite thing about this manhwa, however, is the comedy. I found myself laughing hysterically in so many chapters due to the antics of the characters, and the witty dialogue. The art is so beautiful too. Such a funny, dramatic, cute, and addictive read!
Isso Koe ga Nakattara
4.5/5. This is so cute and wholesome! It's a very eye-opening look at understanding and treating people with stutters (and what the world is like from their point of view), and I think the premise of the story is super sweet! Takashina does start liking Rokuse a little too abruptly for my taste however, and there seemed to be little room (and perhaps not enough reason) for the development of feelings. If the story was developed slower and more sensually, with less of a focus on the end goal of them being together, I would've enjoyed the story much more. Overall, though slightly fast-paced in terms of relationship development, the story is sweet, adorable, and wholesome.
