It was a promising story in the beginning, but the characters fell kinda flat (kazuki was a little childish for my taste), and pretty much everything was solved by an unexpected kiss or sex. I'd prefer if there were more conversations. Also, are we just gonna ignore the rape in the beginning? I mean, non-con definitely has a place in a lot of BLs, but especially in wholesome, lengthy, fluffy stories, I feel like it was a little unnecessary. Anyways, I still found it moderately enjoyable.
