Wadatsumi no Yometori
This was recommended to me... and my god am i so thankful. This tells the tale of a man who survives a tragedy and decides to hold a service to honor dead. He is discovered and subsequently observed by a merman, who then decides to keep him and regenerate him each time he is injured. He soon draws the conclusion that having a relationship with this merman caused his immortality, so he tries to search for its cure. Only then does he realize that the answer was right in front of him all along. A tale heavily influenced by merfolk legend, of fear, of love and of betrayal. And above all else, yearning.
Glass Wall
A realistic take on Victorian-era life and what the aristocracy made out of its people. Seen through the eyes of a young woman's attempt to pick herself up after her family loses its title, while her music teacher and former love interest climbs up the social ladder.
Father, I don't Want this Marriage
I am stoked for when the chapters finally come through and I get to see them have so many misunderstandings in full color Edit: the chapters are in and I am laughing my ass off at the absurdity of it all. Words can't express how much I enjoyed reading its novel. The heroine is indeed the typically misunderstood villainess and she's not 'strong' in stereotype isekai fashion. This one focuses more on the comedic element in between trying to mend a father-daughter relationship that has been long overdue. Let's just say it's more of a family slice of life than a steamy, action-packed romance pumped with political intrigue. Now I get to cringe and laugh in 2D and I am here for it all the way. Plus, the art is immaculate and the father-- god bless our souls-- is hot
Villainess Maker
Going into this blind without having read the novel and I can only say-- she wrote a damned good story in middle school good lord. Good thing it wasn't my immortal.
I’ll Just Live on as a Villainess
They're getting creative with their causes of death. Guess they've officially retired truck-kun. RIP
