Starts with the Seme’s ancestor (look alike) who was in love with a male priest (?) since there was a mention of a divine shrine where they met. The man fell ill, and the priest made a deal against fate and god’s will to extend his life, in exchange for his own life and being further punished when the shrine was struck and burned down by lightning. The man fell in despair and tried to cope with the loss by painting the priest in a scroll, which came to life and took the original’s name and appearance. The man died and the scroll was passed down to members of his family, until the MC appears a few generations later. Basically it’s not a reincarnation story. The original lovers have both passed, the MC is the descendant and the uke is the image/memory/love from the scroll that came to life.

Seme definitely has the pass for being fucking hot and turns out to be a complete green flag. Story starts out dark but is actually fluffy, with most characters’ actions somehow justified, even the slave auctioneer. Noah, an orphan, is deceived by a friend and put up for auction. The person who brought him was rumoured to be a ruthless man, Gilbert, who won the bid for Noah, who has a rebellious attitude, for 200 million. Noah was prepared to be treated badly, but during his first sexual encounter he was taught pleasure he had never felt before.

100 years ago the emperor fell madly in love with a young blue-eyed architect. His love was not normal, he wanted to cage him, cut off all of his escapes, and possessed his entire being. He was insecure that the man didn't love him back, so he tied him down by being abusive and killing countless people who stood in the way. As twisted as it was, the emperor was so blinded by his own love/lust that he failed to notice the young man has loved him too, from the beginning, but it was too late for them and the young man ended his life to stop the blood shed. 100 years later, they were both reincarnated, the young man has all of his past memories in tact. The emperor fell for him this time, but it traumatized the young man who resisted with all of his might, fearing history will repeat itself. The reincarnated emperor acted differently this time, desperate to not repeat his mistakes and lose his love. He's still madly in love, but he learned to control himself and put the young man's feelings first.

Acceptable plot but the premise is still a little odd. Younger bro basically peeped in on his older brother having sex in high school and recognized that the cute guy his bro was banging wasn't feeling good, but still lied through it. His older bro regretted how he treated him in that relationship, so he taught his young bro to cherish his future lover. Turns out the younger bro never got over what he saw, and years later, he met his bro's ex again at a karaoke and out of curiosity, decided to pursue him. This time, he decided to be the one to make the uke feels good, half out of curiosity, and half out of not recognizing his own crush on the guy.
