He's loved and needed the uke, who was like a ray of sunshine, from day one, but it took a short separation for him to realize it.

Seme raised poisonous Zhen bird. In order to be together the bird must stop eating poisonous food, which is a huge sacrifice for its species, but it loves and wants to be with the Seme no matter what

Sequel Three couples in one, including Ren’s (original couple uke) younger brother, who’s now burdened with the weight of becoming the family doctor after Ren was disowned. Second couple is Yagami, Ren’s gay senpai while he was studying in France. Yagami was captured by a company’s CEO who’s been in love with him but had to do a contract marriage in order to produce an heir. Who knew that he’d produce triplets through artificial insemination. His ex wife is a lesbian herself. Third couple of course returns to the original Ren and Kazumi, who got legally married in New York while they were visiting Kazumi’s father in the hospital. This needs to be longer. Ren’s younger brother’s story is incomplete. And they haven’t met to reconcile.

One of the most well-thought and well-written plot line to ever exist. It covers everything. From gay couples dealing with societal pressure to sexual harassment in the workplace, personal sacrifices, the pains of first love. The couple’s absolute devotion to each other squeezes my heart. This is 1000% worth the re-read

They started out licking each other’s wounds but ended up falling in love and trying to move on from their past together. Sakaguchi is in a sexual relationship with his step father that is abusive, but he enjoys the pain because it helps mask darker memories from his past. He then meets another student who also has a troubled background who may be the person to help him stop his self-inflicted pain.

Seme is a cheater. Uke keeps forgiving him. It’s like he couldn’t hate him and couldn’t love anyone else. Seme suffered from the breakup and redeemed himself at the end…but I remain doubtful. They’re perfect for each other

Uke was abandoned by his own family on the day of his JH graduation due to them running away from financial troubles. He had to do whatever he could to survive, which includes jumping in front of cars for insurance scams. One day he jumped in front of the Seme’s car, who happened to be looking for a pretend lover to make his cheating ex jealous. They start cohabiting, and it was rough at first, but the uke is innocent and truly a good human, and he’s actually trying his best to make the Seme happy even though they’re just playing pretend. Seme was an iceberg at first but he couldn’t help but notice the uke’s efforts and also starts to fall for his innocent charm

Merman x Human. The human can't deal with the loneliness that comes with being immortal (bc he's a merman's bride) and always try to find ways to die. However, finding out that the merman is the last of his kind holds him back because he realizes if he dies then the merman will be truly alone for eternity (merfolks only have one partner their whole life, and if that partner is a human woman, once a child is born, the merman/mermaid will die)

Two childhood friends literally in love w each other but didn’t communicate for shit and went on an emotional rollercoaster of miscommunication. They even separated for 4 years before reuniting because the uke couldn’t stand being apart. He did sleep w another guy though…left a bad taste. Meanwhile the Seme was completely one-sidedly devoted. Never got w anyone else man or woman
