Technically tragedy bc the older brother is really dead, but this would be the case of the corpse bride actually getting to live out his life w his truly beloved younger brother

Let’s just say I’ll never read this again. It was sad enough that I read backwards from the last chapter to lessen the pain (as I read the comments beforehand) and I still decided to quit. I’m glad I never read from the beginning otherwise I’ll never get over it. There was no happiness, no hope, not even a glimmer of redemption in this entire story. Those who suffered the most died. The main cause of all suffering lives, I guess to suffer alone, but it feels terribly unsatisfactory, like a killer getting away with murder to atone for his sins by himself. Justice was never served. Nothing could have made this bittersweet. This story was black and blue from the beginning and it ended that way too. Crying as I’m typing this. Never. Ever. Read. This

Dead friend. Love triangle but not really. They were both in love with the same boy but actually they were really in love with each other Story about Nagisa who lived in a small fishing village but after graduating school he moved as far away as he could. However, Nagisa ended coming back to his hometown after collapsing from overwork in the city . He also ended up meet his old school friend Kaito who he did not want to see since they were both in love with Minato (their friend) in high school. However, Minato had drowned when they were still in high school and his death still pains Nagisa and Kaito.

Seme killed uke’s entire family then made him into a slave. He starts out as a cold hearted tyrant, but it turns out that uke’s family was the true villain. They killed Seme’s family first through betrayal, and they were cruel, uke just didn’t know. Instead of continuing the cycle of revenge, the uke fell in love with the Seme. Irresistible lure that leads him to his enemy's heart. The one who contributed the most to establishment of a new dynasty, he is "Igen" the bloody tyrant. His cruelty, which the world fears, drive him to massacre the Azukun clan for revenge from several years ago. The only survivor from a clan that suddenly became a traitor overnight is "Kasan" and he curses himself for surviving. He becomes a bath servant for Igen without knowing that Igen was one who orchestrated his family's massacre. Kasan slowly falls into unknown attractiveness from Igen, who he thought to be cold and distant.

The cult humans are the most evil and vile beings in this story. Incubus only kills those who comes after him. Doomed yaoi set in apocalyptic zombie infested world Should start from second couple, Linus and Connor. Linus has been feeding Connor with corpses ever since he turned into a zombie. The twist at the end is that Linus was already bitten, that’s why Connor doesn’t appear to attack him. In his mind they’re still lovers, and as long as he’s alive Connor is also alive in his mind. Their story feature two small town cops, Adam and Mark. Small town, bigoted community, Mark had to get married and they couldn’t be together. Fast forward into the future, Adam finds the teenager William and captures him, seemingly to deal w his own loneliness in the apocalyptic world. It is safe to assume Mark is dead, and William is his replacement since they do look alike. Adam has been bitten, and he spends his last days protecting William. William seems to have developed Stockholm syndrome and doesn’t leave Adam even when he finds out Adam has been infected. Last story is about a journalist who stumbled upon an isolated home where Lawrence is waiting for the return of his older brother. They have an incestuous relationship, and Lawrence acts dumb and innocent until Raymond revealed that his brother won’t be returning because he saw him as a zombie. Lawrence then dropped the act, and instead of running away w Raymond, he wanted to die with his brother. Raymond decided that he will remember the stories that he’s been told and of the ones he’s encountered to keep the memories of them leaving alive. End w the quote “Even if he forgets, I’ll remember” as William hugs Adam in his sleep knowing he will soon turn into a zombie

One of the most realistic and bittersweet manga I’ve ever read. Even after everything they’ve gone through, especially the poor Uke, I can’t believe he only lived until 52. With all the shit that life has handed him, I was hoping they’d make it to 90s together, hand in hand, but the overall vibe of this manga is just one big tragic happiness. At least they ended up being family, with loving parents and supportive friends. But the tragedy seems so realistic I almost wish it was sugarcoated a bit more just for satisfaction
