Wow a collection of artists falling in love all connected by the same school. The manga itself is art. Absolutely gorgeous drawing and something about the flow is so artistically done! Amazing

Bittersweet for sure. Very realistic portrayal of different people coming to terms with being gay and how they choose to fit into society. The whole point is none of them chose wrong, they picked their own paths to happiness but even that isn’t guaranteed because it never is. Life is a struggle for most people but especially marginalized groups who are viewed differently

The man fell in despair and tried to cope with the loss by painting the priest in a scroll, which came to life and took the original’s name and appearance. The man died and the scroll was passed down to members of his family, until the MC appears a few generations later. Basically it’s not a reincarnation story. The original lovers have both passed, the MC is the descendant and the uke is the image/memory/love from the scroll that came to life.
