Annarasumanara Manhwa
Art Style - 11/10 - I’m not really relying especially on skill here, I’m looking at the fact that the artist made the comic mostly black and white for a reason. The world being dull and the tid bits of childlike innocence brought beautiful hints of color to the panels was an exceptional idea to contrast the blandness of the world against the joy brought from real happiness. This style of color can help the readers easily understand the message the author is trying to convey. Plot - 9/10 - I really liked the plot, but the ending really killed me, and I was heavily disappointed. The ‘silent majority’ mindset contrasting with the magician’s creatively pure way of thinking created a deep plot point. Female Lead - 9.5/10 - I kinda didn’t like her at the beginning, but I do see where she’s coming from. In the end, something she worked up to believe was bad in her childhood she did when she became an adult. Male Lead - 9/10 - I can’t give him a 10 for a certain reason that I’d spoil everything, but he’s absolutely lovable. I wanted to protect him from everything while reading this. His whole thing about not wanting to become a “ real adult “ made me think about society. Overall - 9.5/10 - I still can’t forgive the ending, so I just can’t bring myself to mark this as a 10/10. It’s a beautiful and short story, I highly recommend to read this in one sitting.
