Total aesthetic! Shoujo horror and gore is the best genre

I have no idea why I put this off for so long, it's so great. A biomechanical setting shrouded in mystery, and the artstyle has this satisfying grunge sort of appeal. God I love this. Loved the characters, the setting, everything is just great. Reading the editor drama I assumed the female characters would be unlikable or something but I adored them. I've read that his later works lose the Nihei appeal due to editorial issues but I'll still check it out.

ending was slightly weak but it wasnt as bad as everyone hyped it up to be

Art's super pretty, there's so much detail in the backgrounds and the characters have simple but pleasing designs. Story seems like typical shounen fare at the moment though. It seems very male gaze-y in terms of fanservice, but the male characters have kind of ikemen vibes which is throwing me off a bit. I didn't like the (2 panel) brothel scene but I feel like the fanservice will get toned down later so idk I won't take it too seriously. 3 Tournament arcs are the worst
