The art is very well done, each panel is bursting with details, it's very beautiful in an abstract way.

I love this author and her characters.

Pretty strange. The authors other work, Gishi Sanjin Den, is also pretty incredible, but less lighthearted than this one. I think the amount of detail put into the art compensates for the simple design of the characters.
