Ping Pong
Ao no Senshi
If I'm going to be honest, this is not that good. The plot is rushed and way too much screen time is given to dump unimportant information, it's overly dramatic in all the wrong places (seriously, this is NOT a boxing manga) and the main character is comically overmacho. I initially was keeping up with it because of the protagonists girlfriend, but not only is she a literal nothing character, her arc involves her giving up her (incredibly successful!!) career so she can praise the protagonist and dedicate her life to him, all while he barely acknowledges her (In all fairness to Reggae, he has no dialogue whatsoever, so sugoi!) The best part of this is the art, which of course it is, Jiro Taniguchi drew it. The art is so pleasing to the eye, each line is beautifully inked and flows in a cohesive manner and the characters are very well designed. Not a strong recommendation for anyone but eh. Maybe somebody will be into it.
