I had written an essay on my thoughts and opinions of the manga, until realizing that my words wouldn't do the allegorical nature of the work any justice whatsoever.

family man he is not. wonder if him coming off as a horrible father and husband is based on reality or if it's because he tried to ignore how his family felt about what he did because it wasn't funny enough.

It's an incredibly well done biography, it stays light hearted even with the dark topic, and it paints a better understanding of cancer for both the victim and their family. RIP
