Ahem...i am that type who can't accept the sad ending so managed to come up with an alternative ending... After hearing the news obviously he was depressed... But that book filled with his memory keep him going...he decided to go after his dream for him...and he became a doctor and moved to Tibet to join the rescue team ...by that time he's more interested in mountain lives or something and started research on it.even tho he admired the Idea of mountain climbing ,his body is not enough capable for it...still he loved what he's doing at the Mountain...as times goes by the tribes that lives in mountain also heard about this amazing doctor ...and they invited him to their tribe to show their appreciation. Although his coworkers advised him to not to accept the offer cuz that tribe is rumered to be dangerous, for some reason he couldn't turn them down. It was like someone telling him that you've to go no matter what.
