Light & Shadow
The first few chapters are not so great but it's a really good story. Despite the 100ish chapters it felt short. We didn't get to see enough of Edna's badassery. I love rereading it though so 5 stars.
Yakusoku no Neverland
I'm a HUGE fan of dystopias and horror and this manga is a disappointment. The plot is interesting but it is overshadowed by the extremely bland characters, and by a poor execution which is dialogue driven. The first 30+ chapters are just dialogues between the characters to make them seem smart. Although it's an adventure story, there is barely any adventure and it's mostly skipped or fast forwarded along with any possible character growth. By chapter 120+, only two real arcs have finished with 50ish background characters with no personality, a handful of "main characters" with 0 character growth, no real adventure arc, and a goal that is not quite clear to the reader. It makes you wonder how this manga is one of the current top 5 shounen. For a proper horror dystopia, see Psycho Pass. For a story with real good "what is going on" kind of Mystery, see From the New World. For a story full of adventure in a world against humanity, see 7 Seeds.
Haikyuu!!
Gotta love the characters. Damn that was good.
Hosik's story
This does not deserve the "Cute" and "Adorable" tags. It's been a while since I've seen such an unhealthy couple. Hosik gets stalked, raped, impregnated, and manipulated into marriage by his unapologetic sunbae (this man downplays the rape and never even acknowledges/apologizes for it). Sunbae's unhealthy obsession with Hosik to the point of illegally making a duplicate key to break into his house to watch him sleep and installing a GPS on his phone to track him is a whole yandere flag. Meanwhile, Hosik is unable to stand up himself. He just goes along with everything Sunbae plans. Their relationship does improve over the years but ya can't really sweep how it started under the rug. Overall, the story's ok.
