Suki desu Suzuki-kun!!
Idk why Suzuki and Hoshino are the main couple??? Aint nobody give a damn about their extra-af asses (I'm talking about u Hoshino). Shinobu and Chihiro are what make this manga worth reading and lemme tell ya that damn they be worth it for real. Love all their moments. The only reason Imma give this a 4 instead of a 5 is because of Sayaka
Love in the Mask
It's a great story and I love the main couple. However, Imma put this at 4 stars instead of 5 cause it got messy towards the end. Personally, I thought it got a little contradictory right after the arc with the rich guy that falls for Hyun Bin and tries to take her from our main guy. Rich guy should've stuck around cas damn it all goes down in flames.
Hana to Akuma
This manga is the whole story of the life of Hana, a girl that as a baby was taken in by a demon. Although sometimes bittersweet and for most of it Hana is running behind to catch Vivi, you can't help but want to know what happens next and where life takes the two of them. Personally, I have to say that overall it was cute.
Tail of the Moon
Even the historical tag can't save this one for me. The girl is annoying af. Even when they're like "omg she's grown so much and she's dependable now" PSYCHE motherfucker that girl is the embodiment of whininess and immaturity. I kept reading cas I thought she was gon grow up and the story was gon get better but I should've known better considering who the author is.
The One Manhua
The One covers the story of average high school student Lele Cain as years pass and she becomes an internationally acclaimed super model. Lotsa drama but it's the good kind yall. I live for it.
Sand and Song of the Seas
It's a Ouke no Monshou with a more serious tone. Both heroines time travel to the past and fall in love for pharaohs. However, Ouke no Monshou is more cliched and cute while this is sadder and more painful to read (happy ending btw). I did not like how the main characters did not get enough time together and the ending could have been much better. Therefore, 4 stars.
One Piece
One of my favorites. Although the beginning was a little bumpy for me, what really held me on a tight grasp was the One Piece world. It has pirates vs marines, a corrupt world royalty that enslaves innocents and whom the marines must protect, a variety of living beings such as fishmen, mermaids, angels, talking animals, giants and dwarfs. The arc with Vivi (the complete alabasta arc) is suuuuuuuuuuuuuuper long (that arc was the one that felt longest to me lol) but getting through it to see the rest of the story is really worth it. Some chapters are annoying but there is always a chapter that makes you feel extremely happy that you're a part of this.
Basara
My summary: In a corrupted Japan, after one of the four kings (the Red king) raids Sarasa's village and kills her father and brother, Sarasa takes on her brother's identity and rises as a rebel leader. It would be fair to say that the Red King and 'Tatara' are destined enemies. However, while they're each plotting and campaigning to kill the other, they end up meeting in disguise and falling in love. One of my all-time favorites. I love the Romeo X Juliet style stories. Shuri and Sarasa both end up taking important people from the other and that just adds to weight of their love. The politics, alliances, and adventures add further richness to the story.
