Hadashi De Bara Wo Fume
This was a little weird hahaha. Starts out with rich guy hating on his employee poor girl and using her for his plots. He gets her involved in some deep shit with this other guy, but the dude ends falling for the girl. Btw some creepy shit happens along the way and I cannot believe the girl never called the guy out for his bs. I don't think she ever found out he was using her and was the reason she got involved in some hot mess. That bothered me when I finished it.
Koizora
I don't recommend this one to anyone. I only read it cause I kept thinking "How sad can it be?" after hearing people talk about it. It truly was heart-breaking and it makes it even worse to know it's based on a true story. Honestly, if you can help it, go look for something that you'll actually enjoy.
Usotsuki Lily
Hella silly but not stupid to the point it's annoying. All the couples are 20 out of 10. This author likes pushing the boundaries of what constitutes a relationship and love and she includes LGBTQ characters in order to express her thoughts which I truly appreciate. You won't find a manga as diverse as the ones from this author.
He's Dedicated To Roses
Ya'll know how these crazy manhwa's go. Only thing that's kinda different here is that the evil girl in this one is not the "I'm crazy tough hot shit" kind. Instead, she's the crazy spoiled, good for nothing, lying, fake-ass angel kinda girl. I didn't think the evil bitches could get anymore annoying before reading this but DAMN was I wrong. Yo but this is good tho cas that girl gets her ass handed to her. She never chills the fuck down like that lookalike from Love in the Mask. This bitch crazy till the end and it's great cas her ending is just perfect.
Kanata Kara
This is amazing. Another classic if I do say so myself. It has everything anyone that likes long shoujo manga could be looking for. The relationship is amazing and it progresses very well with the story. You'll end up being the #1 shipper of the main characters. You'll become emotionally invested. You'll feel genuinely happy from their heartwarming moments. You'll feel like you want to fix everything when things looking dark. You'll become a mom lol.
Tail of the Moon
Even the historical tag can't save this one for me. The girl is annoying af. Even when they're like "omg she's grown so much and she's dependable now" PSYCHE motherfucker that girl is the embodiment of whininess and immaturity. I kept reading cas I thought she was gon grow up and the story was gon get better but I should've known better considering who the author is.
Tokyo Crazy Paradise
It's a classic and I haven't ever found a shoujo like it. I love myself a badass lady and I love the relationship between the main characters. Haven't found a manga that could keep the Romeo and Juliet status between the main characters for as long as this one and it wasn't annoying it was more like you understood why they weren't together but you just kept hoping some miracle would happen that would solve everything so they could finally be together. If it weren't for the art style, you wouldn't be able to tell this manga was from the same mangaka of Skip Beat. Therefore, put all your Skip Beat knowledge and expectations aside when reading this one.
