The Evil Lady's Hero
Ending felt rushed. Some things were left unresolved too. What about the intelligent beasts? What about Rael? Wasn't a well-planned out story.
On the Emperor's Lap
The twist with the devil seems forcefully added
At the End of the Road
There's some loose ends. Why did Woojin never visit Taemin? It's never clear what exactly was holding him back. Did he have some sort of deal with his family? It's bizarre that the parents only ever appear in flashbacks. What sort of relationship do Woojin's parents have with him now? It just doesn't make sense in the context of the story that Woojin's parents never got involved in his relationship with Taemin/Siwon. It also doesn't make much sense how Siwon's parents never interfered with the plot considering Siwon had amnesia. It just felt like the story was unnecessarily dramatic with unrealistic scenarios while ignoring the implicit walls that should've been in place.
Palace of Bardo
I liked this one. Reminded me of To take an enemys heart. 4 stars because I wish the art would've been able to portray the emotions better.
Down and Dirty
I initially thought it was going to be a story with an unredeemable couple that just goes through pain after pain. Glad I stuck through it though cause there's light at the end of the tunnel. Part 1 is more like the background story to set up the main story in Part 2. Once it reaches Part 2 it gets sooo good. Hyungdo is one of my favorite ukes. Despite how he melts in front of Lee Gyung, he's mentally strong. His love for Lee Gyung was wholesome. He always had faith in Gyung and the willpower to want to be a good change in his life. At the beginning I didnt like Lee Gyung but by the end I loved him. It's rare to see a yaoi were the seme goes through character growth.
IRIS - Lady with a Smartphone
Idk at some point it started to feel bland. I dont feel like the characters were used to their best potential. Unlike Doctor Elise, the whole idea of Iris being from a modern world didn't have a big impact on the story. Taking it away wouldn't have hindered the major plot points.
