I love the characters

I love the main characters and their relationship but I can't say I care much about the plot with organization and all.

Bittersweet. The uke finds out he's terminally ill while his husband is having an affair. As a result of being fully dependent on his husband for the last decade, once the uke leaves, he finds himself with nothing to look forward to. The doctor falls in love with the uke but the uke has already embraced his death. It's a story about loving a person that doesn't want to live.

Anticlimatic ending.
