Hana Yori Dango
This is a classic for sure. Although I'm not much for relationships where the main leads argue all the time, this story is gold to me. Domyouji, the main lead, is violent, spoiled, and impulsive but his love for Makino, the mc, is so great that it draws you in. He shows his love again and again all throughout the series and as you read you can see how he changes to be a better person just for her. He is for sure one of my favorite characters ever and he indisputably is the main ingredient for what makes this manga's popularity immortal.
Love Is An Illusion
Overall, it's like Raising a Bat with a lot of unnecessary miscommunication and misunderstanding. The main story ends before Hyesung ever fully develops as a character. He remains the same from start to finish. His math talent is also never made good use of. It's more of a loose end than anything. The relationship dynamic between the main couple never improves. The extra stories are good however. I like the other couples more than the main couple

Glad this ended. Unfortunately, like many shoujo manga, this got bloody annoying halfway through. How is it that after 4 years Yuki still misinterpreted everything Naruse says. Every single plot line is Naruse saying something that Yuki takes the wrong way and then her having to deal with her feelings regarding what he said. The manga ended and Yuki and Naruse did not grow as individuals nor as a couple. Only at the very end was Yuki finally vulnerable.
