Katsubou no Manazashi
Abandoned by his mother, Reo has recurring nightmares/repressed memories of being raped by the only person upon whom he can depend, his foster father, Shuuji, and so confides in his friend and neighbour, Kenta. But neither Kenta, nor Shuuji are who they seem to be. Takarai Saki's stories always seem to feature an off-kilter, possibly outright lunatic, character, and her sex scenes are often depraved enough to make this reader squirm with discomfort, but the long and soothing resolution to this story pulls it away from the edge of crack and back into plausibility. It can be maudlin, but there is sweetness at its core which also redeems it.
Mumyoutou
The story of a young assassin and the doctor, foresworn from his own violent past, who disarms him.
Melty Night
I was hooked by the name "Melty Night" which sounds like some kind of newfangled chocolate. The story itself is a bit all over the place so far. In a drunken moment of despair, Amano meets Gill, who supposedly runs a vampire image club, but who may be a real vampire. He rejects the marriage proposal from his boss's daughter and loses his executive position in the company. He meets up with a childhood friend at a bar. All sorts of things happen which are leading somewhere, but exactly where isn't clear yet.
Good morning, bad day
A variety of different slice-of-life stories ranging from older virgins, violent rapists, roommates ... all somewhat melancholy and jaded.
Yajirushi
One-shots about dark fetishes: humiliation, terror, rape, gang rape, public sex, train chikan and voyeurism. No dancing around the issue of consent here; it's all heavy, emotionally detached blunt!smut which left me dry, bored and feeling sorry for the afflicted character.
Kobi No Kyoujin
Tourou No Ori
Twisted period drama about a family with dark secrets and madness, leading to modern era abuse.
Haru ni Kaeru
Series of oneshots mostly dealing with desire and discontentment in a supernatural, after-death context, usually along the lines of "Surprise! The wish genie is a dick."
Omae wa Hitsuji.
Unfortunate circumstances contrive to set up business student, Sahara, as his thesis advisor, Masaki's bedmate-without-benefits. Masaki seems to have been the victim of treachery which makes him unable to sleep. It takes some twisty logic to make Sahara comfortable with this set-up, until suddenly the "without benefits" part changes and sends him into another tailspin. Now there's a rival in the picture, and he doesn't even know this guy's a rival yet. Looks like this is a story about the "vibes" of honesty creating peace and calm and safety for sleeping, except it's yaoi, so of course that will include more.
