I Thot You Was a Toad's manga / #fetish(13)

Cracktastic tale of a boy with a traumatic experience of dentists who gets cavities which require him to meet a dentist with a tooth fetish. Sparkles ensue, along with a lot of nonsense about the correlation between mouth care and personal qualities, and the dentist is quite the hot mess of insecure wibblings, but this is no "Little Shop of Horrors" or "Marathon Man". There are no Cronenburg instruments of dental torture hidden in any corners here. It's strictly about the cute and, while it's little too tooty-fruity for me, Aiba Kyoko sure knows how to draw twinkly BL. The manga is marked as ongoing, but this particular story is signed off with "The End" so I will consider it complete.

A series of stories involving different obsessions and kinks: a fetish for hair,selfish demands over a lover's time, a photography fetish, the fear of being revealed as a homosexual, and emerging from a horrifying past through prison and cheating the yakuza.

Frilly undies fetish.

(1) A story about a pair of lovers, one of whose sense of smell is so acute, it leads to sexual encounters that leave the other feeling less than his natural odour. I don't know how that's sexy, other than that it leads to sex. (2) An incubus is attracted to a schoolaged boy.

The theme of paintings, stolen or given away, as the means of owning a piece of one's beloved's soul underscores these stories about men who are too timid to admit their attraction for each other.

Boy with a hand fetish and an interest in jewellery-making, specifically rings, meets misanthrope whose dislike of people has to do with having been so frequently harassed for having a beautiful face. Misanthrope doesn't know what to do about somebody whose only interest is in his hands, but at some point in the story, he does want that interest to expand to other bits of him.

Double feature: first story is about a sadistic actor with a fetish for asphyxiating his partners, and the manipulations his producer goes through behind the scenes to satisfy his kink without attracting unwanted attention from the press, and where that leads. The second story deals with a young man who falls for the jilted lover of his best friend, a man who is now married and expecting a baby, which appears to take its inspiration from the single Alexander Pope line of poetry about "Who breaks the butterfly on the wheel?" The first story has an ironic ending. The second is lovely.
