I Thot You Was a Toad's manga / #cute(16)

Serizawa, the technology section manager at a popular bookstore, is asked to deal with a customer whose appearance frightens fellow employees. He is surprised to discover what a gentle and goodhearted young man Keita is and, slowly, they develop from a good friendship into a more loving and trusting intimacy. This story is full of rewarding goodhearted gestures of kindness. The sweetness slays me! One of my favourites.

Cuteness overload. The characters are all adorable fluffballs and the situations they get into are all squishy, but not smutty. This is the perfect manga for days when a reader wants nothing but soft landings.

Human/animal hybrids with some of the more endearing and aggravating traits of their pet natures work for a temporary replacement worker agency, developing relationships with the owners who hire them.

This is like Love Stage fanfiction, except no kisses were exchanged ... yet.

Full of incesty goodness!

Chihiro finds no satisfaction in his life as a part-timer until, on a whim, he saves an abandoned cat and needs to bring it to a vet. The vet confronts him on his fecklessness, which Chihiro meekly accepts, and as a result, finds himself working as a housekeeper/assistant at the vet's pied-a-terre and clinic. One thing leads to another ... Like most of Norikazu's stories, the story and uke are cute and she doesn't hold back on the sex scenes. Nice clean drawings and handsome bishies. In this case, a grumpy bear of a seme spices things up.

Lots of woo and sparkles, but otherwise pretty chaste.

Cute and pleasant story about a very agreeable 17-year-old student, Shouta, who falls for Mihara, an elementary school student-teacher who is experiencing an identity crisis over his sexuality and goes into a gay bar out of curiosity. Unfortunately, this manga has not been updated in ages, and because it hasn't yet been licensed in English, one must assume that the scanlation team has either, gone defunct, dropped it or restricted access.

Tanihara owns and runs a shabby corner smoke shop and confectionary and takes care of Chisuzu, the very cute daughter of his ex-wife. Older, careworn and hemmed in by responsibilities and circumstances, Tanihara has no hopes for the future, no dreams left, no thoughts that there may be someone out there who could love him. That is, until he meets Dr. Takafumi Saji, the physician who has taken over the local pediatric clinic, who happens to be gay and who is attracted to Tanihara's 'type'. A mature and easy-going story about real adult men. I liked it better than its prequel, Yume Musubi, Koi Musubi.

A comic two-parter about Takaoka, scientist (cue the lab-coat fetish), professor and secret dork, and Yoshizawa, the cute and sweet-natured Matchmaking consultant who falls for him.
