MY HEART HURTS YHEES SO MUCH TO UNPAKC. Ok I’m gonna do a tiny rundown and then thoughts.. Gender exams were coming up for a couple of middle schoolers and our mc, thought himself to be an alpha but turns out he’s an omega. After some serious complications including almost ending his life after being raped by a fellow alpha, he’s only escape was through his lover, another alpha who only wanted the best for him. You can tell he really did love the uke as far as childhood can bear those memories. Time skip into after college, the two are happily still paired and only hope to keep living their lives, however our pesky alpha here is still around yet finds himself fooling around with another beta omega. Only to figure out that the couples have been switched and this outgoing uke is to be fated with a already paired alpha. After becoming mentally unstable, not being able to bear the fact that his fated pair would never be possible and trying to cope through pills, ends up loosing his memory after pairing with the other alpha. The two pairs live happily through thick and thin and god that baby was so cute I love him. Ok so the other alpha not feeling like he was good enough was just RIGHT IN THE HEART and then he had to go ahead and have his last and first words when he got amnesia be “I love you” and “who are you” IT JUST MADE ME WANNA CRY. NONE OF THEM DESERVED THIS IT JUST HURT OMG. The fact that both couples ended up actually successfully pairing with beats and stuff was just so beautiful. I was terrified for the first couple to see if they would actually break up because of their “mistake” back in middle school. + Taiga (aka other seme) really was a douche but I couldn’t help but love him with his development and how understanding he was (aka when he said he’ll keep telling him he loves him I JUST) + THE BABY HE SO CUTE I JUST HDSODFJSHFHFHHSJDH. “what do you want to be when you grow up?” “A baseball!” BABANSJAH. In the end I love how loyal the first couple was despite how their relationship started and honestly this is such a masterpiece when it comes to omega verse. It touches on heavy subjects such as “forced pairings”, side effects of overdosage, stigma towards omegas and the overall disapproval with going through with the fated pairs idea. God this was so heavy
