story about a human who loves a demon who is the guardian of the forest. the young boy always read the same bedtime story about a humanwho falls in love with a demon. at night, he dreams about the demon having sex with another guy. when he grew up, he couldn't control himself anymore and ended up sleeping with the demon. when he sees the true appearance of the demon and a gravesite, he freaks out and runs to the closest town. there, he meets his birth mother. turns out that he reincarnated multiple times and always go back to the demon. every single life, he comes to love the demon. but due to rise ofdemon hunters, they burned down the forest and the demon start to lose hispowers...but now they can live happy together with the same life span. they had an happy ending. in the end they didn't die from the fire. because the demon hunters burned the forest, the demon lost his powers and turned into a beast with wings. his lifespan is also that of an average human.

volume 8..story continues with count cain unveiling his father's deeds and try to kill him. riff x cain!!! ftw!

story about the ten successors to kings of heaven and hell??? they learn about humans and how to do things while falling in love.... 1-2. the serious student fails his test about human sexual pleasures...and he got help from his childhood friend who always teases him. the friend helped him pass the test by doing a 'demonstration' of sex. clueless uke who doesnt understand seme's feelings offers to help another classmate by doing the demonstration. seme gets mad at uke. uke realizes his feelings for seme. 3. childhood friends...he suffers unrequited love for his savior when he was young. but was soon to be heartbroken when he sees his crush kissing another guy. he gets cheered up by his friend who confesses that he has always loved him since they were young. 4-6. guy goes to the mountain and help a guy from being attacked by two demons. the guy receives energy from bodily fluid--such as from sex. the guy offer to take responsibility and they had sex. the guy learns more about the stranger and becomes attached. i like it when he is in his kurokasa form!!

volume 3. journalist recently published an article exposing the mafia..he hides in his workplace but his boss gives him a new job to the countryside about seeing a ghost in a village. he travels to the east of united states for 8 days but found no village. he finally found it and reside on the village to get more information. he can read minds ofpeople and as he stays in the villlage, he realizes that most residents were famous celebreties. he falls in love with the long haired guy who seems to disappear at times.

6.5. a 42 year old mercenary returned from the african war and looking for a job in japan. he meets a younger guy and has flashback from his past life. they used to be husband and wife back then but now they are both men. the young guy woos him to become his bodyguard and he has hard time giving in to the job and becoming his lover.

i came to read this manga because it is getting an anime...but I honestly think it would be better if it was live action instead. the stories had an interesting and nice atmosphere..almost a real feeling slice of life genre. I love how it covers hetero, gay, and lesbian relationships. Adding an older couple would have been a nice touch also. -not for you if you cant handle incest and pedophile themes
