(not in proper timeline order) So unfortunately, I started reading this before it was completely finished. That means this review is coming a long time after I originally started reading it and just isn't fresh like I usually like to keep 'em. Oh well. Tired of seeing omegas suffer discrimination in every other webtoon? Well this author set out to put a stop to that! Lmfao...THIS is something the streets needed, even though we didn't know we needed it and certainly did not ask for it. And yet, this reverse social ladder omegaverse was born!!! Yeah, talk about truly re-vamping a genre bro. And this freshity fresh premise alone would have been worth giving this BL at least a 9.3 for me deadass, but the author did not stop there. We got it all: golden retriever himbo tops who occasionally sport hearts where their pupils should be, mpreg where we get to really see the established couple throughout the whole pregnancy, beautiful visual art, surprisingly realistic couple conflicts that don't go on for too long but still manage to serve up enough drama, etc..... And thats not even mentioning the quality, steamy af sex scenes bro! Wow, all in all I suppose I should have expected nothing less from the author of “A Thousand Cranes” (one of my fav BL's of all time). I give this a 9.6 ️

soooooooo….. TWO THINGS: 1) how hot and badass Edna is & 2) very advanced technical storytelling skills on the author’s part. Those are the two big deals that make this webtoon a success. (Obvi everything is still good: art is chef’s kiss wellll above average for sure. The romance is present and very sweet but only ever so slightly more than average. The side characters were much more than nice enough. Etc….) But still, those first two things I named were really the bread and butter for this here. Storytelling-wise this author nailed world building, dialogue, pacing, chapter transitions, you name it!!! All that shit was masterfully crafted. EDNA BEING ON SOME REAL HOT GIRL SHIT THO?!!! sheeeesh she’s such a fucking baddie and it was soooo engaging to watch. Her weapon of choice being a custom made whip of silver that tears through skin like tissue paper. Ummm, fuck me mommy?

9.6... will review later Just some notes for now: I want Doyun yo be mine so bad and it pains me greatly to know that I would never be enough to satisfy him :( I want an SO as obedient as Taehan is to Doyn and just as obsessed with me who lets me get my way every time so damn BAD I couldn’t possibly care less about the side couple lmfao and would legit try to skip their chapters... not because they were horrible as stands lines, but because compared to th main couple they were bland as sand bro both Doyun and Taehan are baby heads in their own right but ALSO much more than baby heads. Often baby heads are just baby heads, you know? They’re so flavorful and multi-facetedas characters! :3 also they were abs9utely adorable and I could read about them forever tbh.,.. like if the story continued (withoughme having to hear from the side couple more than every other 7th chapter), I’d literally read this story till the wheels fell off lol In omega verse world, the leniency with calling out of/downright cutting work is wild lmfao. You put in a request every month to take entire weeks off just for your cycle? Taehan omega dilf daddy got me bout to act up Etc...

The final act of an absolute legend..... I can’t believe this ended. It will always hold the mosey specialist place in my heart. Nothing has ever touched me in this way before. I’ve been reading this for years now and I am so very sad at the whole this will leave in my life where it once was, if I could have my way, this would lovely go on forever, but I know all food things must come to an end. If here are any qualms to have with this story, it is that she didn’t end up with Lucas. Like... tbh I have no idea at all whatsoever that we kept making it seem as though Ijeakeal had a snowball’s chance in hell. That was a bit annoying lol. Haha okay that’s it so far as qualms go. Despite this and whatever other minor criticisms I could make about this story, due to the god tier art and blessed beyond reason wholesomeness of this gorgeous work, I will still e giving this an extremely subjective and utterly UNREAL rating of 9.9 whopping stars lol

(not in proper timeline order) REVIEW AFTER FIRST, INCOMPLETE READ: most overrated BL I’ve ever read like jeez bro 9.6 fucking stars??? Really? And it was way too long it dragged out way longer then it should have, I swear I barely finished it . And the “characters”? Caricatures is more like it, boy were they typical as shit. Also how dare in top of all this other stuff, the sex scenes all be bad???? (or at least not to my taste). man, how annoying. (but also... after all that being said... there were still moments that made me just... uwu) REVIEW AFTER COMPLETION: So………. It is clear from my first review….. That I was a MAJOR HATER skskkskskskskkskss Lmfao why was I such a hater? Hahahaha I couldn’t stand this shit hahahaha. OMG breath, it is actually absolutely batshit crazy how much of a different tune I am singing now that this shit is over. So looking back, it seems as though I wrote my first review for this on Jan 11, 2021, which is when there were 108 chapters posted on, out of the 173 total there are now. I don’t know man…. Something about these last 60 something chapters must have really changed my mind? LOL. (This is why I try not to read unfinished works haha.) Anyway, moving onto this final, once and for all review: I LOVED it. Ahhh it’s a very guilty pleasure. I can’t help it. I couldn’t help it if I tried! Keeping up with the ins and outs and ups and downs of Felix and Giovanni’s relationship was the soapiest opera-iest thing I’ve ever done in my life, and I did it for like, 2 years lol. I did it for two years, and that’s with me already being two years and over a hundred chapters late to the game! I honestly can’t imagine how the girls who read this story for FOUR years are feeling now that it’s over! Felix will ALWAYS () and forever be my darling baby boy and no one and nothing could ever make me say otherwise. He is the cutest thing that has ever graced the face of this planet and I’d kill for his happiness. Now…Giovanni?

(not in proper timeline order) To be honest, this doesn't need an intro or a review. The girls who know all know and we all know what it is. I’ve seen more people than I can count say this is the best, and it is. It’s got entirely too many things going for it. Too wholesome, too sweet, too cute, too pretty, etc… Now, are there some iffy and some wrong things thrown in there? For SURE. But, meh. It did what it needed to do for the people it needed to do it for at a time it needed to do it. One of the pillars in my journey as a BL reader. One day, now that this is fully done, I will come back and read the whole thing from start to finish (just like I will with Love is an Illusion and Hold Me Tight), and I’ll write fresh reviews are all three. Real, honest, un-fragmented reviews. And maybe even dish out new scores. Who knows? For now, this gets a 9.7
Crimson Karma Webtoon
Fun fact: This is the very first– and only– webtoon I’ve ever read that inspired me to want to write fanfiction about it. This was very, very good. The female lead was literally a grown up fantasy isekai version of Haruhi from Ouran Host Club. like, bar for bar lol. And I mean that in the BEST way possible. The similarities obvi start with appearance: short brown rough pixie cut ish hair, small cute face with big eyes, androgynous style choices, etc… But the main biggest similarity? Ya girl got GOD TIER rizz I love it for her, I do. She pulled every single nigga in her vacinity from the moment she spawned into the world, and not to mention she was pulling literal hoardesssss of bitches too. It was crazy. All without having to do much at all. She was just ~existing~ and people would be like “…alas, I too have been charmed by the Great Dane Kasia” . The most notable thing about this story, and probably the thing I liked the most and kept me the most hooked, was the true “you don’t know who she’ll end up with”-ness. The grand majority of these otome isekai stories… you know who she’ll end up with. You obviously do. You’ll know the moment she sees him usually and if not you’ll notice pretty soon after. It’s the first male lead. But I’m this story????? No way Jose! You defo think it’s the first male lead, then??? Seemingly two whole thirds of the way through the story swoops in a second male lead that completely blows him out of the water in terms of not only looks and personality, but most importantly chemistry! Their chemistry is so much better in fact that you really do start to wonder…. will she end up with the second male lead? There’s the back and forth. The first male lead is still not out of the running folks! We see him swoop back in and fall even harder. He gets more scenes with her, changed his approach. But the second male lead is still in the lead. The first and second male lead are arguing amongst themselves in the corner here, and then what is that coming out of left field?? A THIRD male lead in the LAST 30 or so chapters of the story? Certainlyyyyy he has no chance right? But wait! He’s got more rizz than the first and second leads combined! And the chemistry between the him and the female lead? Better than the first two male leads as well ! Now they are getting bucket loads of important screen time with the MC and… Wholly Molly folks, looks like it is STILL anyone’s game! Lmfao, it was like a sports match, but sooooo much more entertaining!!! Every time I needed to put it down for a second, I couldn’t stop thinking about it throughout the day. I told multiple people about it just because it was that entertaining to watch. It was exciting af not knowing who was gonna win her over in the end, but it also kept me on edge. I was rooting for the second male lead from the moment I saw him, but…. I was NOT expecting the third male lead to cause my loyalty to my baby bunny to waverrrrrrr as much as it did! Thank GOD they made the third male lead a reincarnated version of her past life abuser, because wheeeew….. I needed something to stop my from hoping onto that ship! And then for most girlies in the audience it’s clear that this wasn’t NEARLY as much as a deterrent as they needed it to be, so the author had to make him regain his memories as well hahahaha. Glad she did it though, cuz clearly she cares about her story enough to not want to leave too many things in dissary. While she didn’t want to leave tooooooo many things…. she still had to leave enough lingering attachment for the third male lead so we could have the two of their JUICY parting of ways. My man really kissed her forehead and said, “Tell oh boy he is lucky he met you in this life. I’m our next life I won’t let you go.” And then with TREMBLING, reverent hands on cupping her cheeks he asked “so… will you look at me in our next life?” And the female lead’s reposed? She SMILED and said, “yes, I will look forward to this next life”!!!!!!!!!!! Ahahahahahahahahahahahah she truly promised her next life to this man and that’s WILD to me I love it too much sksksks. I Stole The Male Lead's First Night
Ripley, Ripley, Ripley….. My girl So, this is hands down one of the best in the genre bro. It just is; I don’t make the rules man. I can name 3 stories TOPS in the genre that I like more than this overall. It is simply THAT objectively good. It’s got EVERYTHING. Good art? Yep. Good plot. Yep. good side characters? Yep. Good MC? Yep. Good love interest? AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Yes Lordt . Wowzers……. He for real in the running tippity top bracket of the “that’s the kind of dude I was looking for” contest in this genre. Sweet jesus the grand majority of other male leads just don’t be doing it like him lol. He was ughhhhhhhh whew! – Okay, let me calm down hahahha. Look. I’m just saying Zeronis was my MAN. He was hot as hell, sexy as fuck, funny, fun, witty, charasmatic, smart, charming, romantic, caring, loyal, dedicated, resourceful, intimidating, everythiiiiing. Everything about this man was top tier peak cream of the crop material. Now, let’s get into Ripley. I love Ripley. We love Ripley. What’s not to love about Ripley? Did she play too much? At times? Was she trifling? I can’t deny it . Was she a little dumb and reckless? Well…. look . But these are all the things that make us love Ripley! Because above all else Ripley was relatable . She was a real deal girl. She was always absolutely hilarious with her juggling and bomb shots . Hahahhaha, Ripley always gonna be my girl. Zeronis always gonna be my man. As a couple, I stan. They were so so so much fun! Now, for flaws…… if I had to give any flaw about this story I could say that the side stories were a good bit more boring than the main story. (But they weren’t bad!!!). I could say that it was a little weird in the side stories to try and garner sympathy for a home-wrecker? (Lol.) I could also say that while I love love loveddd the couple that was Zeronis and Ripley….. Their relationship was SO good… that at times it actually made me a teeny weeny bit lonely . None of these flaws are actual flaws lol. Overall this story had such fucking good vibes, and that’s needed sometimes in a genre usually fraught with political turmoil, outbreaks of war, and races for the throne. Sometimes we just need a silly bitch like Ripley living her silly little life! Hosetly, I am writing this review over a month after I finished this story, and I know if I was writing it fresh out I would have 3 more pages of stuff to say. Who knows, maybe I’ll do another review fresh out of the inevitable re-read one day. Giving this a 9.67 (ever the leg up on the 9.65 I gave my girl Realiana!) P.S. Why does the cover art for this so inadequately portray what the art is actually like in the story, lol?
