A Thousand Cranes
Worth more than the 9.6 rating. I’m giving this bitch a 9.75. Even if perhaps not my fav BL (I’d have to think about it...?) def what I’d call the objectively best quality masterfully crafted one I’ve ever read hands down hoe. This was it. This was the shit. The author understood the assignment perfectly. Funny cute adorable heart-wrenching mushily romantic yet still with wonderful sex scenes the whole 90000 yards. This couple win OTP of OTP’s. I loved MC from the literal moment I saw his face on page one he is forever baby. Top love interest is also forever baby tho. Agh, all around I just CANNOT.
The Man in the Mirror
I literally have no words to describe this masterpiece. Too too too much. To the author’s of Ou-sama to Puppy Love and Torokeru Chouai Celluloid, EAT YOUR HEART OUT BITCHES. Unlike you guys, this author here understood the assignment 9.75
Alien In My Closet
I’m not gonn lie, for the entire first half I was like “hmmmm... feeling more like a 9.4 to me” but then the second half got STEAMYYYYY. Lol, hot scenes got much ,ugh hotter when Lotus actually started acting like he likes MC. Lotus blushing for the first time? Habanero sauce bitch. Lotus acting desperate, or turned on, or needy, or jealous? Ooooooowie we loved to see it and it was such a turn on and I didn’t t realize how much of a turn off it was going to be for him to not be turned on until he took off that stupid horny-inhibitor bracelet and we got to see him turned on. Anyway, very clear and dear 9.5.
Bakeneko Katatte Sourou
This is a 9.3 that would be a 9.4 if it had a legit sex scene. I just know it. Sex scene or not, I’m giving this a 9.4. I loved it. I’m a big fan of the folklore aspects, because that stuff’s my jam. Kihachi is super hot and I wants him. MC very relatable and endearing with his suicidality and burnt-out-and-jaded-by-society-ness and all. This got pretty deep into some existential life stuff for a work as short as it is. And in so few words at that. As always, this author is daring in a way which necessitates imperfection, yet for that same reason makes their works perfect to me. I wholeheartedly stan. Bless this person.

The Devil’s Temptation
This is a masterpiece. This is the funniest BL I have ever read. Goofy humor- incredibly goofy. Hyun is ratchet, cute, clumsy, stupid, naive, and a wee bit feral. These are all traits I love to see in tandem in an MC. This had blessed humor, appealing characters, at least two mildly wild plot twist that I did not see coming at all whatsoever, playfully good art that tended to be hilariously crude at times, etc.... there's a lot to say because it had a lot going for it. Can't say the sex scenes were all A! or anything, but they get pretttttty good and steamy decently often throughout these ~100 chapters ngl hehe. The relationship issues that the main couple had were not only realistic and good ones to be discussed and brought up in fiction of this nature, but they were also handled better and more maturely and admirably than I ever really see them being handled bro. Instead of blowing up at Ivan and saying some shit he would regret, Hyun calmed down and simply told him he needed some time alone to think. (me: *tears up*) Faults? The artist clearly got tired at the end and let the ball drop a little because the sequence of the story got all out of whack and confusing and so did the plot a bit and the ending was rushed. That made me sad because it was one major fault on an piece otherwise lacking major faults. But it didn't make me sad because it made the story and less of an enjoyable ride. That's the major fault. Minor faults? Lots of people in the comments seem to not like the two times all three main characters had a threesome. While, I think it was wild and unexpected AS FUCK, I didn't necessarily not like it lol. Part of me really liked it because it was a reeeeeally spicy surprise surprise lol. Part of me felt indifferent because the scenes themselves went by quick and weren't written in a way that made them hot at all. Part of me in retrospect said "ewwwwwwww lmfao aren't Alek and Ivan literally blood related cousins???". Lol, and for that last reason, I am going to have to count the threesome aspects as a minor fault. In addition to or honestly in tandem with this minor fault, I will have to add on another one half of a fault due to the way Alek handled the whole situaiton. I think Alek is FOINE (because he is my type lol), but I couldn't bring myself to feel all too too sad for him considering the way he handled shit. I was alright with Hyun and Ivan having sex one night after getting way too wasted from a drinking contest together. Both parties were too drunk for consent to be a thing so it's not alright, but alright enough at the same time you know? Like, not ideal but nothing real criminal. However, I was made uncofmy by the fact that Alek seemed to have approached Hyun that to have sex before Ivan even got there. 1) He knew Hyun was drunk off of his ass while he himself was pretty sober (since he said himself he has too high of a tolerance to ever get drunk) and so basically him having sex with Hyun was rape that night: a boss raping his employee after the company chrismtas party is what it was. the fact that Ivan liked Hyun aside, he was right to be shocked and disturbed by what he saw when he came into the room smh. 2) on top of him raping Hyun, it is beyond heavily implied that he was raping Hyun in order to get one over or mess with Ivan. yikes :( like eww wtf 3) on top of both of those points (and this might be what's most important about this fault), he then had sex with both Ivan and Alek- both of whom were too drunk to remember the night at all- and then left before they woke up and kept it a secret from them the entire time. Like um, sir ew wtf. Hyun and Ivan were wildly drunk but you were not and because it was a threesome you highkey raped them both that night and didn't feel bad for a) having done that or b) keeping that a secret from them. So yeah, after typing that out, I think that last "minor fault" when added to the "half fault" I tacked onto it ultimately = one major fault. So I guess we'll say the story has two major faults afterall (but no, make Ivan and Alek being cousnins a seperate issue form the rap and then we have 2.5 major faults). Any other faults I may have had with this at any point must have been too insignificant to mention since I don't remember them. All I remember was having a good fucking time. This was wildly entertaining and 106 chapters of wildly entertaining at that! Pretty damn hard to come by I'd say. So yeah I loved this and deadass wish I could give it a 2.7, but due to those 2.5 major faults, I'll be giving it a 9.6 afterall.
Tale of the Yellow Dragon
At first I was going to give this a 9.6 because of my objective viewpoint, but I’m ultimately giving it a 9.7 for two reasons: 1) it brought me to near sweet tears and 2) it NAILED its ending— which so many BL’s struggle with that this makes it rare. Gigi things? Remarkable art. Delightful storytelling and plot. the love interest (YD) is one million percent MY type (long silver haired supernatural simp). Sex scenes that aren’t phenomenal but that do manage to always get the job done and then some. Lovely characters. And more. What’s bad? I’ve legit got nothing to complain about for real. I can’t say anything was bad, all I could say is things that could’ve been better, but there’s no need for that. All in all this was just soooooooooooooooooo perfect to me
