My love for this author's work surpasses life itself

Could've been cute, but it just feels so weird that Caleb has watched over him ever since he was a child. Idk, just comes off so strange to me, especially with that flashback with the omelette. Plus that romantic development came straight from nowhere. Good concept, but couldn't care less about any of the characters nor the story at all.
