Hokenshitsu Made Nan M?
3.5 stars. I like the realism in this mangaka's stories. (Although the first story in this manga wasn't particularly realistic.) I also like the humour.
Yozora no Sumikko de
Yuuki's summary: "This story is beautifully executed and perfectly paced. Visuals of a starry night sky guide the reader through the present, to the past, and to the future. What is genuine in this work is compassion. No matter the age or circumstances of a person, their feelings are painfully articulate, whether in words or otherwise. A confession by an elementary student, the feeling of loss in an adult when they derail from following their dream, all these things paint a picture of the precious mundane." Sounds good, but probably quite slow paced, plus it's only shounen ai. I mainly want to read because of the connection with the stars. After this, read the sequel 'Yoake ni Furu'.
Ai Sareta Gari No Tsukushi Kata
3.5 stars. Sweet, fluffy goodness! Seme wins 'Caring Seme of the Year'! I often get bored if it's too fluffy, but I found this really adorable. Maybe I just needed a break from the a-hole, forceful type of seme.
Reversion
This looks quite original, both art-wise and story-wise. Also, the h is uncensored and pretty erotic from what I've seen. Toad commented: 'The interesting character-driven plot asks whether pride, stubborness and integrity are character virtues or flaws.' This is something I regularly ask myself, as I too possess these traits and can see the good and bad sides. Actually, I'd love to chat with the mangaka, as I've also often wanted to create a character-driven manga with a similar artstyle, so I wonder how many other things we might share in common! For all of these reasons, I'm really looking forward to reading this.
