Heart O Nusumu No Wa Dare Da
2.5 stars. As is often the case with this mangaka, the premise is interesting, but it's poorly developed, (both plot and characterisation wise). It could have been sweet if we'd known enough about the characters to care about their relationship, (which was also poorly developed).
Ruriiro Butterfly
Didn't really like the last 2 - the characters were too young, and the stories developed too fast, (even for oneshots). The others were really sweet, though.
Koushaku no Himeta Kuchizuke
3.5 stars. Sequel to 'Kizoku no Aoi Kuchizuke'. (Shame I didn't realise, and read this one first.) The main story was really sweet, and almost made me cry at the unfairness of them not being able to officially marry. At least they were able to have their own private ceremony. Just knowing that gay couples all over the world, (apart from where gay marriage is legal), face the same situation, makes me so sad and mad! The other stories developed too fast, as expected given their length. The art, as usual, was beautiful.
Kizoku no Aoi Kuchizuke
I was glad to read a story about the gorgeous prince Vincent, but actually it was disappointing. All of these were a bit meh, apart from the fairytale like one about the kingdom of darkness, that was really sweet, and also a little different from the others. 'Love Egoist' was aparently one of the first that sensei drew, and it shows - rougher, and less pretty, with less detail.
Heart Strings
Ichigo no Yume - Shimatsuya Risuke no Kaii Jikenchou
Long Way Home
3.5 stars. This was really sweet, though sad. If only Yui could have his own story. Either the explanation of his relationship with his brother, or with someone else. He seems like a surprisingly sweet guy for a yakuza boss. Although as much is not said, I'm pretty sure he deliberately played cupid to the others, as he could see they were incredibly lonely, and could empathise, given his own loneliness.
Escape
That was really good, but THAT ending... man the feels!! Please let sensei write/draw one where they... Actually not gonna finish that sentence in case I wanna reread it once I've forgotten the ending. I love the way that they both enriched one another's life in some way. It was really heartwarming, then heartbreaking at the end!
Spicy Hot Life
I read this a while ago, so I can't really remember it all that well, but I seem to recall it was not bad - quite sweet, plus I like the art style. 3.5 stars.
