tsukineko's manga / #sweet(926)

Sad life circumstances, (mc [uke?] abandoned by his mother, left with abusive, alcoholic father, plus bullied at school), but the manga has an upbeat tone, (mc [uke?] has a positive attitude despite everything). Funny moments and sweet moments. Cute cat cameos.

Despite the time travel aspect, (just a plot device, and a way of making the father × son aspect more palatable), this manga deals quite realistically with the feelings involved in [consensual] incest. This turned out to be quite a touching manga. It mirrors my own thoughts and opinions regarding consensual, non-abusive incest - especially the 'not equal' quotation near the end. Love [between consenting adults] is never wrong! Anyhow, it was worth the read and the tears it made me shed. I love Reibun's art style.

Apparently, this has a good plot and characterisation. Deals with real life issues in a relatively realistic manner. The uke is quite a badass, rather than the usual, annoying, crybaby type.

Apparently, the plot is intricate and interesting, and tugs on the heart strings. After this, read the sequel 'Ze - Kami no Hon', then 'Ze - Spring Snow', plus I think there's another.
