Void (zariya Ranmaru)
Just found this again and don't even remember reading it. Why did I only give it 3 stars? It looks pretty good?! Guess I'll have to reread it at some point. Changing status to 'now reading', then, to remind me to reread it.
Homura (uzuki Jun)
Tooi Nemuri
Both stories were good, especially the first one. For once in yaoi, the mc chose to do the right thing, no matter how difficult, (although he did fuck up a little before realising his error), but he still got his happy end, (well as happy as possible, given the circumstances). Also, I liked the way the dead person is not just conveniently forgotten about, but the character still manages to move on, (in a realistic manner). Both stories are realistic and mature. Errors are made and moved on from in a very human manner.
Pandora
Really loved this. Half a star removed for the art style, which I liked but didn't love, and minus another half star for the first story, which was sweet, but I couldn't get past the fact that they both stank from several days, (serious turnoff), lol. The rest more than made up for it, though. Nice that the mangaka gets s/m and D/s dynamics.
Breath
3.5 stars. This wasn't bad at all actually, although I wouldn't call it brilliant either. It was quite well drawn, and the plot retained my interest with a few twists and turns, and wasn't too cliché for the most part. (Well the anemia/low blood sugar thing was extremely cliché, but whatever.) Psycho brother notwithstanding, the characters were pretty realistic, which is probably my favourite aspect of this manga.
Hard Triangle
2.5 stars. Story 5 was really sweet - I really liked it, (would have given it 3.5 stars). Story 4 was intense and not bad. Story 3 could have been good, but it was clumsily executed. I didn't like the first 2 stories. I didn't like the art at all! The pointy ears and nails made them look like pixies or demons or something lol!
Dear Myself
It was annoying to read shounen ai, as there's no 'action', but I read it as it's the prequel to the yaoi 'World's End', which I'm going to read now...
World's End
Sequel to 'Dear Myself'. Daigo is so freaking selfish, and all the other characters seem to think it's his partner's responsibility to cure him of his emotional scars, and to accept all his shitty behaviour and to stick by him, just because he's the only one who can deal with him. Ugh I just can't stand clingy people, and emotional blackmail is just soooo not acceptable! Whatever. Rant over.
Hana To Ryuu
I really want to read this! 1. Hana to Ryuu 2. Sessa Takuma 3. Kizuna 4. Gun and Heaven ('Kizuna' takes place in the same universe, (w/ different mcs), about 5-10 years later.)
