According to the tags, there is: abuse, rape, and BDSM. I'm waiting to find out whether some readers have misunderstood BDSM as abuse and rape, or whether on the contrary, rape and abuse have been misunderstood as BDSM, or whether, in fact, there is rape, violence AND BDSM.

The storyline is kind of similar to my own life, although I was 2 years younger and she was 2 years older than these characters.

Apparently, the ending is too realistic, ie not happily ever after, which is a good thing in my book!
