Bottomless Swamp (BookCube Version)
Honestly, this story was all over the place with the appearances of characters that only complicated the plot more. Like it was always one character coming in, another leaving, then more again. Even at the end of the story, their relationship is toxic to me. This "life you no matter what you do" -- doesn't settle with me. Additonally , the art got worse with lots of sketching. The plot itself didn't seem very structured. I got bored easily , I just wanted to finish it. They were cute, I liked the beginning 30 chapters, but then the author dragged it on too long. Storyline - okay. Plot - no. Characters - eh. Dialogue - decent actually. Panel flow - pretty good. Also, the titular aspects of the story were very underwhelming and not evident.
Rational Pervert Romance
Such a stupidly sweet story. And the buff dude is the bottom? Cute. Anyway, I loved how they had an openly gay characters, that works for me. It was a but cringey with the plot, but it was a cute nice read. I think the characters balanced each other out. One was pretty indecisive and fearful, while one was very proactive and bold.
Simplified Pervert Romance
Smutty. It was really all about them having sex and having these weird ass fetishes and them fulfilling each other by being friends with benefits. Then it one grew feelings and Yada Yada Yada. Anyway, not really much plot to it, but it was slightly entertaining . Of course, this is another one of those , communication is an issue trope , so I disliked that.
Candy Man
Thirty chapters in. Honestly , this story is kind of garbage. It's a rip off of My Darling Signed up, but way worse. The overall pacing is pretty bad. First, the way the MC tried resolving and escaping from the issue was really bad. Then we see the MC's SO be super crazy possessive - psychopathic. There also isn't a concrete plot. The main plot was resolved about 15 to 20 chapters in, regarding the whole posing-as-girl-online trope. And now, its just the appearance of being overly possessive, or random external conflicts that just seems tiresome. Their immaturity at handling these conflicts is bad. I cant tell if I'm reading a story made by a 14 year old , or if it was intentionally thought out to look like it was made by a 14 year old. The character's resolve is incredibly fragile, their relationship too, and the development is not there. It is so badly paced. And I cant tell if the character is intentionally made to be possessive to fulfill that "seme-uke" trope, but regardless, I hate it. The transitional chapters between the numerous plots are superficial and lack depth and reasoning. Yandere with derdere. Storyline - interesting. Plots - ass. Art - so good ,but plot is so sad. Panel flow - okay. Storyflow - bad.
A Strange Joke
Overall, this story was a fantastic read. All the characters were so well-developed , with such a strong backstory to understand their intent. Looking at the authors note, of the 5 unrequited love and growth of it, I will evaluate each as it corresponds to all the arcs. Arc 1. Min, Jina, and Sijun. This was quite the plot which showed the growth of Jina who experienced a fake relationship with Sijun. Overall, her overcoming of love for Sijun, though he was gay, made her a fabulous supporting character for thejr relationship and the plot. Only thing is I don't usually like these miscommunication plots. Arc 2. Love triangle with Min, Sijun, and Sehun. By far one of my favorite arcs because of Sehun's emotional turmoil, confession, and developmemt. I was incredibly sad after he was rejected. Arc 3. Sijun and Min. After chapters 40, we get a huge flashback of Sujin, his fuckboy past, and how he came to like Min. I found this incredibly sweet and they jumped quickly into a relationship. Of course with this relationship came the proceeding conflict of a collapsed love triangle with Sehun. I love how they were able to have all their relationships be resolved , but Sehun still needed justice. After that, he was tossed to the side. Arc 4. Love perseverance chapter 60+. This fact that this dude turned up made things go South with his appearance had me messed up. He became obsessed with Min cuz he regretted his actions as Min's ex. Of course, that didn't happened till the end of the story, so he instigated a bunch of shit. Thus the cycle of violence and trauma was passed from the professor, Mr. Shim to Min. Min became self conscious of himself , the relationship they had to keep hidden, and self-proclaimed burdens he had hid from Sijun. Thus, they broke up. How they got back together was rushed. I didnt like that. It needed more talking on resolve, but I guess for content sake, not everything needed to be reviewed cuz Min had already gone through all the emotional turmoil after they had broken up. As I read the story, the art just started to become better and better. Every part of this story had grasped my attention , except for the last arc that made me question the integrity and admiration of the MC. Of course it was drama filled ,but it was a great mixture of some cliches with some realistic relationship things. The art improved so much throughout the serious and I have always loved the writing. The panel flow is amazing , the storyline is simple and sweet. The plots are not all my favorite, but the author did a damn good job writing it.
Hetakuso Love Step
My heart is absolutely amazed by this series. I love I love it I love it I love it. It makes me heart feels so warm , it's steamy, and it talks about a basic relationship between two people. It doesn't exaggerate the sex , it includes realistic realistic things like shopping, going to the movies, and all the such of a basic relationship. It helps normalize the love.
