Astonishingly complex and intelligent. All the puzzle pieces end up fitting together so beautifully it feels so satisfying. The feeling of grief and desolation are so clearly communicated it made me cry over and over. What an intense and deeply moving story. Update5/21/22- 1 year ish- later I simply cannot overstate how incredibly moving this work of art is. This is my third read through and I still found new clues and hidden meaning to discover. This is truly an epic story I love it so much.

A heartbreaking supernatural thrill ride that forces you to contemplate what it means to love someone. And what you would be willing to sacrifice to be with them.

The art work is breathtaking and I love the characters, but the story is so sad in some places that due to my personal preferences I could not give it 5 stars. However, this is still a must read for anyone who loves fantasy! I loved almost every moment of this story, but the gratifying ending that I was holding out hope for never came for me personally. I understand that it is still a beautiful piece of art and to many people, a more traditional "happy ending" would have felt wrong. But I wish I had known going into this that although the story comes to a clear and well developed conclusion, to me it still felt devastating. So please read this beautiful story, just be prepared. I can't wait to see what project the artist will come out with next <3

Compelling and turbulent. This story forces the viewer to consider all perspectives of a break up. No one is "the bad guy" people are just people. Flawed and cowardly each person has to overcome their own emotional trials in order to reach their own "happy ending." An intelligent and well-paced slow-burn relationship study. Very sad, very dramatic, was worth a read but it is hard to say if I will go back to read this again because of the nature of the content. In any case, highly recommend.
