Nibiiro Musica

Complete | TOKORO Kemeko | 2014 released

The story of a musician and his muse over the course of many years. This adorable story unfolds by going back and forth over time as their relationship develops. The relationship between Yuki and Takuma was so beautiful and special. Art and music truly have a way of transcending boundaries and I loved the way classical music was showcased in this story. But I did not care about any of the other side characters/couples.

Koinegau Horizonte

Complete | SEINA Anji | 2016 released

An interesting and complicated story about grief, coming of age, and personhood. The setting is fantastic, and the characters are interesting. Really enjoyed it! ***Spoiler thoughts*** I really enjoyed this story a lot. If I could have anything different it would have to do with some of the interpersonal relationship choices that were made by the author. I felt that it was very compelling that Nagisa felt such tremendous guilt over Minato's death. But then it's revealed that he was not even present during Minato's death or any time close to it, he saw him hours beforehand. I felt that for his guilt to be so great that he should have been with Minato closer to the time of his death. It is revealed that both Nagisa and Kaito "liked" Minato at the same time but then at the end Nagisa's character backtracks and says that he actually always only liked Kaito which was kinda confusing... We are told that both of them liked Minato but we never hear from Kaito explicitly that he was in love with Minato and he seems to only miss him as a friend, so it's not clear what their relationship was. At the very end, we get to go to Minato's room and look through his old things and discover that the whole time he had a girlfriend. So Minato did not like either of them! To be honest I feel that was kind of a cop-out. And lastly (this is really NOT important) the "H" scenes were kind of awkwardly drawn and the dialogue was a bit unnatural. But aside from these things I really enjoyed this read.

Holy shit this broke my fucking heart! I loved it! I wish there was more!!!

Seishounen no Tame no Yuuryou Tosho

Complete | Yoshida yuuko | 2019 released

This was pretty great! The characters were a bit more complex than the typical rom-com. ***Spoiler thoughts*** When they met again I wish that the Seme had given some kind of explanation for his behavior when they were kids? Or at least said clearly "I made a mistake by hurting your feelings when I did 'XXXX' and that's why now I have changed my behavior in order to pursue a relationship with you and do 'XXXX'" I know that its a BL and not every little thing is going to be explained but I really wanted him to take some responsibility for fucking up. But he kinda just apologized vaguely and they moved on.

Ijimekko to Nakimushikun

Complete | SAKURA Riko,Sakura Riko | 2016 released

Ugh, this had so much potential. But it just didn't have enough time to breathe. By the time that things got rolling with the first story it was over and time for the next one. I didn't bother reading the second story, the first is fun but too short.

Kitto Oujisama ga Nante

Complete | kuzukawa tachi | 2000 released

This one got me. I laughed, I cried, I was moved several times by the tender sentiments and struggles depicted in this story. Finding your own happiness is far more important than trying to be "normal."
