This was a very good burgeoning relationship school-life BL. I especially love the second Volume, normally second volumes tend to be not as good as their first but in this one, the second volume is far superior in terms of addressing real-world relationship problems. The first volume is a bit problematic but I feel that eventually, the story is able to overcome this by the end of the first arc and certainly by the end of volume 2. Give this a read! ***Spoiler Thoughts*** *First I am going to take a moment here to talk about something that has been bothering me in the BL genre in general, sorry to this manga for having to be the one this gets dumped on. It is never ok to have a coercive sexual relationship. The end. I understand that rape is part of our reality and happens unfortunately a lot. However, it feels that almost every BL story has some kind of rape scene or dubious content scene in it. When the relationship ends up with a happy ending, I feel like that kind of sends the wrong message. For this story, the seme literally uses the urk's body as a squeaky toy to just kinda fuck around with cause he's "interested" in how the urk could be in love with another man. The urk consents to this treatment because he wants any kind of relationship he can get with the seme, even if it isn't healthy. At one point the urk says something along the lines of "stop" and means it. The seme replies "you want to stop? ok but that's the end of this relationship." That is coersive sex and its not ok. But the thing that is in some ways more frustrating are the stories like this one the "Dub-con" or "dubious content". The truth is that as some points in the story it seems that the urk really enjoys the sensation of being made to do things that make him uncomfortable. He has masochistic and submissive tendencies when it comes to shame and pleasing his partner. Meaning that feeling shame or being made to say/ do embarrassing things sexually excites him. When the urk is made to please the seme sexually in a submissive way he enjoys it. In which case the scenes that look like they might be non-consenting might actually be consentual "play" from a BDSM perspective. BUT!!!! Herein lies the crux of this issue. Everyone has kinks, but they have to talk about it beforehand. If they had a scene early on where the seme said something like "do you like it when I tell you what to do? do you like it when I hold you down and humiliate you?" and the urk replies with a "yes" them literally everything else could remain the same but the audience could not feel so UNCOMFORTABLE! Anyway..... talk to your partner about what you desire out of sex beforehand and make sure expectations are clear. Then go hog wild! That's all from me today folks!

This is so beautiful to look at, the art style is so pretty! Just a note, this is Shounen-ai with one extra chapter that has a brief sex scene but the main story is more about a developing friendship and crush rather than what I would consider the threshold for yaoi. But its still good.
