The main story is so cute and smutty I loved it.

Normally I don't like insta-family type stories because I am terrified of babies. But this one was actually really good. I enjoyed it a lot. I just wish they gave a bit more backstory but what are you gonna do.

I was initially excited because of the high rating, but sadly I was disappointed. ***SPOILERS*** I know it's BL, but there is an undercurrent of toxic behavior that is kind of insidious and was a complete turn-off. The seme has expectations about how the urk should act because the urk is a virgin. But when the urk acts in ways that subvert the semes expectations the seme gets pissed. He takes out his frustration on the urk during the urk's first time and that is SO NOT OK. The thing that bothered me the most was that the seme basically wanted (and expected) the urk to act like a shivering virginal flower maiden from the snow palace of purity. But guess what? The urk is a normal person, he is curious about intimacy and wants to have sex. I know what a slut. But instead of having a revelation and being like "wow I had my own expectations about what I wanted my partner to act like but now I understand that he is human and not an object. He is allowed to be himself and express himself in a way that feels honest for him instead of catering to my very specific fantasies." The seme was all like "Wow he is completely different from my imagination. Why is he eager for sex? I wanted him to be afraid and meek. I'm mad he asked someone else how to have sex. Grrrrrrrr, better tease and make fun of him at this moment. Now that he is on his back showing me his bare asshole and allowing me to penetrate him. Ruining this special moment that he was looking forward to and then telling him it's his fault for asking someone else about sex is definitely the way to deal with my own emotional immaturity." Ugh...

its fucking cute

This was was pretty good. I read it because it's by the same author as "Koi ga Ochitara" and that one is a goddamn masterpiece. This one however was not really my speed. The only way I can describe it was "opera buffo." Every time there was a poignant moment they had to ruin it with a crass joke. Sometimes things got sentimental but then the tone abruptly shifted to try and lighten the mood. I was not a fan of this style but that is just a personal preference.

This was so fucking good. Like easily top 5 stand-alone favorites. So funny, so cute! I am PRAYING that this gets a second volume cause I can't live without more!!!!
