Yoru To Asa No Uta
I seldom add negative comments, but I really needed to get this off my chest: This is one of the most DISTURBING yaoi works I've ever read. Asa is just a disgusting hypocritical prick & Yoru is just plain weird...I think he lacks s.th. necessary for a human being in his make, like pride, or just a basic consciousness of him being a person! The events are messed up after the ch.5 incident...there's a super traumatic rape experience & the author just breezes past it like it's a paper cut! I mean... even though I don't necessarily hate the "rape" theme in yaoi, at least let it make SOME sense! if you go that far in breaking a young person, there's no way you can put him back together that fast(or maybe ever!) & at the end of the 7th chapter there's a 4-Koma joke page about the orchestrator of the rape incident which I didn't even bother to read- why the hell would you make a joke about s.th so serious?! Like I wanna see anything from that freaky brother after all that aside from him having his head cut off & fed to sharks!!!! & even in the only tolerable chapter(7) where they are supposedly dating, you can't really feel any real love, just a strange obsession & an "after-rescue" dependency... All in all, I disliked this manga enough that I regret reading it (which is rare for me!) & I would give it minus 5 stars if possible. & I really don't recommend it unless you have some rather extreme tastes in yaoi fetishes...
Akutai wa Ude no Naka de Futatabi
Clarifies Touji's odd behaviors by revealing his background. Also presents a lot of progress in their relationship. Great work~
Gives
It was quite interesting but the ending was somewhat lacking~
Doronuma
Uncharacteristicaly, I waited a long while for this to finish The story gets you hooked, but in the end, my evaluation took a nose dive compared to the beginning It’s just that...even though this was the best ending for me, I still can’t understand the uke...well, I’ve never been in an abusive relationship, so maybe I just don’t get it, but I always feel like in any abusive relationship, some of the fault actually lies with the abused party. This was a perfect example of that; I mean, even if he didn’t have the guts to tell Shogo the truth (that he loved him & that the intercourse with his ex was actually mostly rape) at that time, there was still no reason for h to stay with his abusive, shitty ex-bf!!! I think I should re-read this in a couple of years and see how my opinion would alter as I age~
Never Understand
Until half-way through I was on 5 stars, but the last couple of...or maybe 15-20 chapters totally ruined it for me I’m not completely against rape themes appearing in manga, but I hate it when it’s thrown in like a bump on the head! It’s a delicate and serious matter that shouldn’t be overlooked and gotten over so easy And though I liked almost all characters in the first half I started to like them less and less as it got closer to the end... This is a perfect example of a great plot totally wasted by a sh**ty ending!
Ore no Oniku-chan
The art was really pretty & the story was pretty cute too, but it felt unfinished... it could’ve been a 5 ️ for me, but the ending was so loose that it really wasn’t even an ending, so I can’t bring myself to give it more than 3 ️
Haru ga kita
The story was quite good The art was really pretty too I just wish it was a bit longer! Kinda dissatisfying...
Royal Servant
It was a really good story, but the ending was so anticlimactic that it was somehow disappointing! Also there was too much ‘rape’ like sex going on in the beginning...
MODS
This was pretty good, but it was definitely unfinished!?!
