Meanwhile, tensions are rising at the hospital, between assistant Kirigaya, and new "normie" doctor (and friend to Kijima, Kurosaki. Although Kirigaya still seems smitten with Miyaji, doctor Murkowski may have developed feelings for the assistant.

Second installment! Miyaji and Kijima are married, now with a baby son, Shouta. Miyaji is returning to work, due to the huge workload, despite wanting to take care of the new baby. Kijima is supportive of Miyaji, but Miyaji begins to feel insecure about the relationship. Miyaji's post-pregnancy hormones are still wreakin havoc with his emotions, and attracting others. Meanwhile, we are introduced to a new doctor, who comes on board in the beast ward to help Miyaji. Both Miyaji and Kijima are experiencing growing pains as they struggle to establish a work-life balance. Includes 2 chapter story about a detective and his childhood friend reunited after 10 years.

Sequel to Koi ga Ochitara. Love this couple and the wholesomeness of their relationship and love for each other. So well written and put together. Love!
