Adebana wa Einen - Jujutsu Kaisen dj
Translation is 'the fruitless flower cannot provide eternity' and I think it centred around the fact that Yuji was a beta and so many people (inside and outside of this doujinshi) centre childbirth as something essential. A literal go big or go home. Perhaps when humans were dying out, absolutely. As this is fictional, there's probably more than 8 million people in the world already like there is in reality. Honestly, sit yourself down and - in the words of Omni Man - THINK society. Again, pretty art, though the age gap is out presenting problems. Shoko makes an appearance, which is awesome. Megumi and Nobara have iconic lines and Ijichi is bullied and set behind schedule as usual. Splendid!
Ao ni Somaru Hi - Jujutsu Kaisen dj
A continuation of another work. It's sweet, and Nobara's energy and Megumi's cynicism carries this. Less Shoko, an appearance of Mei and her brother, and BAM. Absolute chaos. I really liked it! Age gap problems still a red flag though.
JingaiXOmegaverseBL: Maga No Mani Mani
Read this in about five minutes flat, even less perhaps. Starts with race as per the course of omegaverse but the protagonist just accepts it and the monster is happy about it. Interesting and unique read and I liked the art and the shortness of it. Three stars from me.
Toshi no Sa x Omegaverse BL
I felt a mixture of emptiness and melancholy after this shows me how little impact some stories have on me. That ending being boiled down to natural instincts will always take over makes me wonder at the author's intent? Why make another omegaverse and a one shot if nothing was ever going to be addressed storywise? I feel I may be too harsh, but I genuinely believe just making this have no plot would've been better. Even so, I commend the author's art style. The bite marks looked painful and ugly and made me wince - others normally cover it up or it just looks slightly wrong - but this had an element of reality in the level of wrongdoing that was committed, the sins of the father carried onto the son, and the fact that the rapist can walk free and still attain a job by the end of it.
