It started off with a SPINEL means slave, and a PEL means someone from the EMPIRE or an aristocrat.
Rowell, a duke Of Cloid, was just passing by a road, about to go home from a task, met this man (Dev) who bumped into him and took his pendant (gift from his parents ; former Duch and Duchess of Cloid). When he saw Dev, he said the guy was pretty. His eyes were like a moon and it was beautiful. They both hope to see each other again. Dev thinks that the aristocrat was also beautiful.
Dev was about to sold this pendant for money, but unfortunately, he was captivated by this Pel who owns him (a Pel who solds Spinels for money) and Rowell came to see him. Dev made a deal, he will give the pendant back to Rowell, if he will buy him, just for the purpose to be free. Rowell was hesitant, because for one (1. he hates Spinels) (2. Spinels killed his parents) (3. He doesn't want to "buy" Dev, because for him he wasn't an "object") but the spinel looked serious and he succedingly bought Dev and took him home.
At first they were awkward. Not until Dev was seduced by the looks and body of Rowell. They had made love... and became closer than ever. Rowell even allows him to go to a place where only him and Maurice (servant) are allowed. They talk a lot of times and even got closer.
Rowell found out that Dev was looking for his sister; Leah and his mother, Maya. And so he promised to Dev that they will look for them together. And that made Dev fell in love with him, because he was so warm and kind to him. One day, the duke went missing.. He was held captive by the Duke of Chapman. He was surprised by the news that Rowell bought a Spinel and offered him a deal to stay with him. To make it short, he wants Rowell to be his partner for life.. When Dev found that he was missing, he was torn between escaping or looking out for Rowell. But he can't forget his duke's face, he saved him. When he got there, Duke of Chapman was trying to tell Rowell that Dev is only a slave and it will be nonsense to keep him forever. But Dev heard Rowell said that "Dev is special" and he fell in love even more.
There was a party held for Pels and Spinels and Rowell wanted Dev to come. Rowell was talking to other aristrocrats that one time, when Dev was left outside. He was collided with Noah (a Spinel working at the Empire) and hugged him out of nowhere, which Rowell saw. Rowell came to them and interrogated them, and Noah felt like they were couple. So he was shocked, Dev doesn't seem to know the story of what happened to his family. So he told them the truth... Dev's family ; Leah and Maya died because of the aristocrats. That's why he thought Spinels and Pels can't be in a relationship because of the Empire's orders.
At home, they made love. Dev was devastated for what happened. And Rowell felt bad for it. It wasn't Dev's fault but Dev can't stop blaming himself.
Dev wants to be stronger, he wants to go away and save Rowell from harm. He was not confident of saving the man he love. And so he asked Rowell to let him go and thus they fought.
Rowell went to see Fritz ; Prince, the son of the emperor. Because the Emperor was sick, Rowell was worried. They talked about Fritz going to be the emperor and he will free all Spinels from slavery. And that made Rowell happy. Fritz made that, because he realized that Rowell was happy finally because of Dev. He did that despite having Pels might turn back at him. His first love was Rowell, but when he saw Dev and him together, he decided to move on and just create this "order" just for Rowell to be happy.
When he got home, he told Dev the story and they made up.. Dev finally confessed to Rowell that he loved him, and Rowell loves him back.
A devastating news came to them, and said that the Emperor is dead.. Fritz wanted Dev to come along. They were there when Fritz finally announced that Spinels are free from slavery.
While they were both taking their rest on their home, Rowell said to Dev that he went to look for Dev's father, however, he was responded by his father's brother, because the truth is, Arthur Gregory was dead. He was killed when they were fighting for their purpose.
Arthur Gregory was the Baron of the Empire. He was out in the woods, wherein he met Maya (Dev's mother) they became close and got married. Arthur joined their tribe and had kids. Leah and Dev. However, his brother came to meet him, and said that the Former Emperor (not Fritz) implemented an order, that Spinels will be used for slavery. Since his wife and kids are of the same Spinel blood, he doesn't want this to happen. He found a way, he met the Former Duch and Duchess of the Cloid (parents of Rowell) and met with the little Rowell. He said to him, that he is an ally of his parents. And they will look for a way to stop the inhumane behavior of the empire. Even though people from the empire will chase him and kill his family because of it. He risked it all.
Dev was the only survivor of the Gregory family. The last words of Arthur Gregory to Rowell was to make sure that when they met, Dev will feel special because of how special his eyes were. And to Rowell, he found it very amusing that they're connected and fated to love each other from the very start.
He held his pendant from his parents and thought the start of their relationship was very amusing. The reason why he wants to take back the pendant, was not for the pendant itself, but to see Dev once again. It was an excuse for him to see him and he didn't regret "buying" or letting Dev free.
As for Dev, he only did it because he needs money to go away from being enslaved from that Pel. However, when he saw Rowell, he fell in love the first sight, and also think that he didn't regret "stealing" the pendant from Rowell.
d;skmdksamdmska It was SO BEATIFUL ;;;;;; There wasn't any heavy drama. The only problematic here was the Duke of Chapman at first, but he has his reasons.... Rowell was able to control the situation because he had Dev by his side all the time. And. Rowell was so cute! I get it that Dev can't control himself at timessss. And adorbsss huhuhu he's so precious, must protect!!! He was a really kind hearted nobleman. He was so against of slavery, he got it from his parents. And treasured Dev like a special person for him. He did everything he could to look for Dev's family and stay by his side knowing that Dev only has him forever. HUHUHUH this story is 100000/5 stars. FuCK!
SIDE COUPLES AND STORIES OKAY THIS IS ALSO A GOOD SHIT
a) Let's start with the Duke of Chapman and Garnet.
They started of with an off relationship. The Duke of Chapman was married with a Duchess, it was a forced marriage because of greed and power, but he can't reciprocate the same love for her. He didn't talk to her for weeks. The Duchess was helpless. She asked for attention, but unfortuntately for her, she was ignored. The Duke of Chapman, got all tired and furious with the situation that sometimes he abuse his Spinel ; Garnet just to let his anger out. But the truth is, the reason why he can't fall in love with the Duchess, is because he was inlove with his spinel. He can't confess and admit it to himself, because the empire was stopping him. His father was the one who arranged the marriage, for the hopes that he will create a family and an heir. However, he was fed up. The moment he learned that the former emperor was dead, and the new Emperor Fritz implemented a new order to free all Spinels from slavery, he decided and manned up confronted his father that the Duchess finally let go of their marriage and signed a divorce. His father was furious about it and tell the DOC to go away and not see him again. Now he's free. Free of his true feelings. Him and Garnet are now happy tgt.
Okay, so... At first I don't like the DOC. As he played with Rowell's feelings. He just wanted spinels for fun. And he asked Rowell to stay beside him, just for fun. He didn't really have a romatic feelings for Rowell. That made Garnet felt useless and of course, jealous. He manipulated Garnet at first, because of his situation with his bloodline. He was depressed. He has this reputation of his family. But that's not an excuse to play with Garnet's feelings. But, Garnet really loves the Duke and still accepted his feelings for him. I believe in character development. I think it irked him that the order was finally off. And his duty for his father was now done, it builded up his courage to finally come out and confess his true feelings for Garnet too. So this side pairing for me will be 3/5. Don't hurt my bb Garnet anymore ;;;;;;
b) Fritz and Noah
So, first... Noah likes Dev. That's why when he saw him at the party, he was thrilled and excited to hug the latter. But, upon seeing Dev and Rowell together, he became sad and mad at the same time. Because why on earth would Dev fall in love with an aristocrat? The same bloodline that killed Dev's family?
He was devastated. When will he finally meet his soulmate? He thought, way back on their home island, his soulmate was Dev. But, when he saw Dev with Rowell, he decided to move on. But it wasn't easy. Everyday working on the Empire, he feels lonely, sad and spaced out. He remembered his Grandma used to tell him, that his soulmate will eventually come where he needed it the most. He just have to wait. Until, the new Emperor Fritz came down beside him in a balcony, who was trying to run away from the servants.
The Emperor, since that day, kept on bugging him and chasing after him whenever the Emperor was free or was just lurking around the palace. Turns out that sometimes he escaped from a work/routine. Noah kept on telling him off and stop chasing him because people from the empire kept on creating issues that Noah was chasing the Emperor and seducing him, when it's actually the other way around. But people will not believe it. A mere spinel and an Emperor having a thing?? No. As for Noah's pov. The Emperor doesn't seem to care, he was a jokester. A free spirit Emperor.. Everyday they were together , just talking. They felt closer by the second. Until one day, Fritz invited him for a drink. Noah was fond of the wine and got so drunk, he tried to actually seduce the emperor for real. He lived up to the rumors saying he DID seduce the Emperor, so why not make it now??? And so they made love the whole night, with Noah being drunk, and got shocked the second he openned his eyes the morning. Since that day, they didn't care what others might think about their relationship. An Emperor and his spinel; his love. For them, it's special enough. kdmskdmskdm for me this is 4/5.. I need more story!!

I don't have a bad review for this one. I really like the art! I like the story. I like the concept. Spinels and Pels, the author really have a fresh imagination. It was really fresh to read. No heavy dramas. Just fluff and smut. Which is really good tbh. So all in all 5/5. The concept was just like the Royal Servant wherein they didn't care about nobles and slavery, it's the bond created from noble x slave to just two people loves each other and it very willing to do everything for their other half. And it's so beautiful, I cried.
