Season's Cafe PLOT
Season's Cafe was built in Jeju owned and staffed by 4 handsome men (Heesung ((owner)) Yunhyeong ; Yonghwa ; Jaeyoon) and a youtuber slash celebrity woman (Bona).
It started with the cafe being at the brink of critical situation wherein the cafe is not selling anymore. They went into a bar, saw this youtuber named Bona, and came up with a collaboration with her. On the process, Yunhyeong blurted out that he's gay when Bona was just casually talking to her ; thinking that she's hitting him. The scene made it online and was talked about many.
Bona started working there, with a lot of fresh recipes and even a familiar ones. Well, with Yunhyeong it is. Turns out that she's living with Yonghwa ; Yunhyeong's ex boyfriend, because she needs his help for her youtube contents.
Bona keeps on mentioning her workmates at the cafe, she mentioned YH name and triggered Yonghwa.. The name was indeed familiar, but there might be lots of ppl who uses that name. Turns out, it was the same guy.. who dumped him. Heesung was dying to ask Yonghwa to be a part-timer, and so because of Yunhyeong, he agreed.
They saw each other once again, and memories from the past gave him war flashbacks. But he still kinda admits to himself, that he's still obsessed with Yunhyeong.
The moment they first saw each other after 2 years , they had sex. Their relationship was complicated. They both admit that sex is good but never really thought of coming back tgt. A lot of bickerings and complicated stuff between them, like i.e, YH's small business of selling his un-used sex toys. He became worried and jealous of men coming with YH. And so that ticked YH and asked "What are we? Why do you act like my boyfriend when you're clearly, not anymore??" It also ticked him off, knowing that Yonghwa lives with Bona, like why are they having sex knowing that YH2 lives with BN?? Do they have this sort of relationship that he doesn't know?
Until one day, YH realized why he's being like that. He can't keep on hurting and using Yonghwa's body just for his fantasies. He regretted hurting him again.
Jaeyoon (bisexual ; staff of SC) onced confessed to YH that he liked him. Because there's no one other than YH that is beautiful and handsome on the cafe. He even wanted to try to have sex with him, however, it didn't work out in the end. While they were talking, JY used to say that.... Bisexuals and gays don't have the rights to fall in love for too long in this society. That they will only have short term relationship, then one or the other will find a woman to settle marriage and have kids, in which of the same sex won't ever get. And that made YH anxious and depressed.
His feelings for Yonghwa was overwhelming and he did think of their future. He was scared of the thought. He really loves Yonghwa so much but also didn't want to end up hurting both of them on this so-called "love"
After a few confessions and love bickerings (including make lovesss) they finally realized that they can't live without each other. That also made Yonghwa move out from BN's house, just so it won't YH anxious and jealous anymore.
Yonghwa was scouted by his friend, who works at a five star hotel in Seoul, to be a patisserie, that's why he ended up resigning from SC and being apart from YH for just a year. When he came back, YH and Yonghwa both go to his parents and introduced Yonghwa as his boyfriend. At first they weren't approving and welcoming, until Yonghwa pursued them with gifts and just his presence of constantly going there everyday (even without YH) makes them like him nevertheless. YH's parents said take YH with him next time <3 Turned out pretty good with the parents hihihih.
(SIDE PAIRINGSSS) Jaeyoon and that 23 year old kid. At this point, they only met, at first, for being a customer x staff. JY kept on rejecting the kid's confession, because of his Bisexuals-aren't-supposed-to-be-in-a-long-term-relationship belief. He brushed it off and kinda misses having sex with a guy, he used a dating app (gay) and turned out that same kid was his partner. And they did have sex... until they came up with an agreement to have sex whenever the other is horny. JY will not ignore the kid anymore but still doesn't have any labels yet. Hoping for 2nd season tho?!??

The story is so-so. It lacks communication for the main couple. YH left just like that, and Yonghwa didn't even try to catch up with him? Or never looked for him. They waited for 2 years after they've finally reconcilled. But the reconcillation was made pretty bad. They had sex. Like... come on? LOL Yonghwa was too forgiving and too "marupok" for me, the guy left you, and so you should be mad at him???? .
Also, YH. although I understand that he's having anxiety with their situation, why would he give someone something to be anxious about too? I mean... he's in that situation, clearly, and normally, you wouldn't want to pass onto others what you have felt or what you're suffering from, right? If he really loves Yonghwa, the guy deserved, somewhat, an explanation or letter before leaving him. But no, he didn't leave any traces of him, like literallly just packed out everything from Yonghwa's house.
I only like Yonghwa's persuasiveness that proves well that he really loves YH, despite Yh being a complete dick for leaving him. Also when he's trying to win YH's parent's heart, that's a plus for me. And Yonghwa's BODY EXCUSE ME, I need more juicy smut scenes from this guy, come on.!??!?
CONS: This is actually bad for lgbtqa+. This is so unhealthy. Jaeyoon thinks same sex relationships don't have the rights for long-term relationship. He thinks that, eventually, people will leave and look for a woman to settle with. I mean, let's stop with this logic. Not all people wants settlement. As what Yonghwa said, he doesn't need children, he just wants to be with YH.
And the sex scenes, COME ON, show us more?!?!?!? Why do they keep putting clouds all over their thing? I like LIGHTSABERS THAN CLOUDS OKRR.
overall i'd give this a 3/5 stars.
