Full Review of Doggerel (will contain spoilers):
This is beautiful. I thought the story was going too fast, but as the story goes on, there is more stories to the plot. I ended up loving the story till the end. Nonami's personality is straightforward. He gives no bs, he always voice his opinions. And I love that. I always want that in bl or straight stories. Communication is key! I'm proud of him for using those skills! Higa is "bright" and very cheerily (but you know those phrase where people who smiles the brightest is actually the one who is hurt the most, that's what is going with Higa). I believe..towards the climax of the story, we learn more about Nonami's biological father and his lover's past. Nonami's caretake father's (which is his father's lover), past made me sad. I felt bad he was "betrayed" by his lover because his lover wanted to be "normal" so he went and got married; however, soon after, came back to him AND THEN died. I was crying for him because he has been through so much. This story really emphasis so much about Nonami and Higa's love struggles and story and thoughtfully branch out to other couple(s) that are connected in some way. I really love seeing that. Overall, the story is gorgeous and I don't understand why the rating is so low! It deserves 9.0 at least haha.
