why were the girls bullying him for the teacher trying to rape him??? a teacher from another school no less? was the author trying to insinuate that girls hate gay men? my best friend in high school was gay. i cant imagine bullying him if some teacher tried to rape him.

So many people misunderstood the second story. I think after the death of their friend, the main character realized that life is short. The thought of dying alone, or dying with regrets, made him do something he always wanted to do. He immediately went and had sex with his male friend. it gave him the courage to break up with his GF and finally be with the person he truly wanted to be with. in the end, he is testing himself to make sure there isnt some feeling for his GF. And there isnt, which is clear. So in the end he chooses to be with his male friend.
