For Your Love
UGHHH. This one really pulls at my heartstrings, the yearning and character development is super strong on this one. I really love that the author took the time to develop their friendship before even introducing the romantic aspects. I think it might have been difficult to read/get into if I was reading it over multiple weeks, but its perfect for one sitting. Yohan learning to discover his feelings was done really well, only slight critique was it kind of fell into the "I'm not gay I only love you" trope but the brother and LGBT representation made up for it. I wish that second lead had more of a dramatic climax to finally expressing his feelings or we saw more frustration build from Yohan's perspective. Rereading it made me feel like it was slightly pushed, I wanted more of an internal struggle where he realizes he doesn't confess his feelings and learns to be more open (but not mad with how it was executed in the comic). Also felt the realism of college was handled well, good balance of stress and reality. Overall I just really love this one, so many amazing aspects that make it stand above the rest!! (Personally dislike the poor use of side characters and nonexistent B couple but I think that might be turned into a spin off series, either that or I'm confusing it with another Ive read)
