The male lead looks like a gangster with his piercings and tattoos but is actually a big 'ol softie. The female lead is quite independent as well, she's popular and isn't afraid to throw hands. A refreshing change from the usual dominant male and a stuttering mess of a female lead. 10/10 - would absolutely re-read again

i watched the movie (it was available on youtube) and it was so cute! I read some of the manga and I think the movie followed it pretty closely. I love how it doesn't really rely on the build-up of their relationship, it more so focuses on the trials that they encounter whilst being in a relationship, this includes: the public stigma that comes with being a same-sex relationship, the uncertainty of two high-schoolers graduating and what that means for their future and the future of their relationship.

The artstyle is a bit iffy sometimes but you'll get used to it
