if you have some semblance of experience with the villainess trope, this shit is predictable as helllllllll; gotta give it credit for the interesting mother & child story like it’s definitely very heartbreaking but honestly? it would’ve been better without the emperor guy, just make a good revenge story

my friend REALLY wanted me to read this, apparently there’s a novel and it’s pretty good; it just seems like another version of “reminiscence adonis” imo — since tn are taking awhile maybe will start reading the novel…

okay so for a pretty basic god x mortal trope, it holds up pretty well!! really happy with how the romance is progressing, the mc confessing and being upfront is such a nice touch (so glad didn’t have to tag slow burn) however, the love triangle is annoying me bc despite my best efforts to be invested, the teacher is not gonna be chosen, poor guy… it just seemed unnecessary to include — other than to have fans argue abt who is better, which is alr happening

if we had a nickel for everytime a woman stayed with a man who had the personality of a wet towel who then proceeded to bring in their own concubine, we’d have two nickels which is weird that it happened twice.

proud to say that this actually made me shed tears — maybe not ugly cry but yk still made me feel very emotional; there’s something about two characters equally pining for one another that has me clawing at the walls asking for more, all of them have suffered and triumphed over sm so really glad to see a happy ending :)
